Chapter 211: Chapter 210, Catchy_1
"Ji Nuan, thank you so much for last time. The medicine powder you gave me cured my Mom’s parasite disease. She’s recovering well now," Bosson gratefully said.
Ji Nuan waved her hand dismissively, "It’s no big deal. There’s no need to mention it. Brother Xiu Yan told me that some of your tribesmen have been injured. I’ll take a look at them."
Bosson gratefully nodded and led Ji Nuan inside, "Their arms were bitten off by those Hyena Orcs. If it’s possible, could you help them with treatment? They all have families in the tribe. If they can’t hunt in the future..."
Though Bosson didn’t finish his sentence, someone as clever as Ji Nuan could guess the rest. The females here would surely abandon these Orcs who were incapable of hunting; their cubs would have to be collectively raised by the tribe.
Ji Nuan looked up at Bosson, a confident glow radiating from her fair, youthful face, "Don’t worry. I’ll make sure they’re healed and won’t be disabled."
Seeing the confident gleam on the young she-cub’s face, Bosson felt a surge of confidence and retreated, nodding nobly.
Norwe and the other Orcs initially thought that bone treatment would be extremely painful, but they were surprisingly relieved when the pretty young she-cub poured some medicine powder on their wounds, instantly numbing them.
They marveled as Ji Nuan used her peculiar method to treat them painlessly. A couple of the Orcs even fell asleep and started snoring.
Bosson anxiously waited outside until Ji Nuan stepped out with an eased expression. He quickly approached to ask about the condition of his tribesmen.
Ji Nuan reassured him with a smile, "Don’t worry, it’s all taken care of. Norwe’s case was a bit severe, he’ll need to stay in bed for a few days. The other Orcs should be up and about the day after tomorrow."
Bosson looked surprised, "They’re all healed?"
Ji Nuan widened her eyes, assuredly responding, "Yep! They’re all better!"
An expansive smile spread across Bosson’s face as he quickly walked back into the house.
As Ji Nuan turned to head home and change her clothes, she bumped into an eccentric-looking young female, "Are you from the Bosson Tribe?"
Ji Nuan’s soft voice seemed to calm down the hyperactive Little Pipi, "I’m here looking for my older sister, Qi Mo. Di Feng said she’s in your tribe, do you know her?"
Ji Nuan looked at the young female in surprise. She was Qi Mo’s younger sister? Both sisters were so strong and courageous, venturing out in the cold season. Incredible!
She nodded, "Yes, I know her. She’s currently staying at my place. Would you like to come with me?"
Little Pipi eagerly nodded, helping Ji Nuan with her belongings as she cheerfully followed her.
...
After changing clothes, Ji Nuan came out to see the two sisters still crying and hugging each other. Rolling her eyes, she thought, what a couple of crybabies. She’d taken a bath, changed her clothes, and they still hadn’t stopped!
"You two, if you keep crying, my house is going to be flooded with your tears!"
Qi Mo released Little Pipi from her hug, flushing slightly with embarrassment.
She pulled up the whimpering young female, "Anuan, this is my little sister, Little Pipi!"
Ji Nuan stopped mid-way through drying her hair, her eyes wide, "Little Pipi?"
Qi Mo stroked her little sister’s head, responding with a nod, "Yes, it’s the name our mother gave her. We just got used to it."
