Chapter 130: Chapter 126, Ferocious Goudan_1
"Clan Leader, Gouzi has returned!" The filthy cave was filled with bones and scraps of meat. The bloodstains on the beast skins emitted an unpleasant smell, and flies were dancing in celebration around it.
An ugly hyena, sprawled out on a beast skin, was awakened by the call. It angrily pounced on the orc that had entered the cave, its sharp claws instantly ripping the thin layer of beast skin, drawing blood. The orc screamed in agony.
Having released his irritation from being woken, Goudan wagged his tail and let go of the wailing tribesman beneath him. "Stop yelling, you said Gouzi is back?"
The orc rolled around in pain and fear, covering his injured arm. "Yes, he’s eating meat in the Food Storage Cave!"
Upon hearing this, he seemed to shrink with fear.
Indeed, the Hyena Orc, who had just vented his anger, sprang up like a lit firework, his furious voice echoing throughout the tribe. "He dared to touch my food in the Food Storage Cave! That’s mine! Mine!"
The orc was sent flying to the edge of the cave with a swipe of his hand. The orc who had come with the news bitterly licked his lips and quietly grabbed an unfinished bone from the ground, stuffing it into his arms. He staggered out of the cave, dragging his injured body.
Meanwhile, Gouzi, who was happily indulging in the Food Storage Cave, was suddenly smacked aside. He almost threw up the meat he’d just eaten.
"Brother! Brother! Don’t hit me, I have good news for you!" Seeing Goudan’s ferocious demeanor, Gouzi was so scared he almost wet his beast skin. He quickly cuddled his head into a ball and shrieked.
Goudan inhaled deeply, retracted his sharp claws, and growled menacingly, "You’d better have some good news, otherwise you’ll become a resident of this Food Storage Cave."
Gouzi’s slim body trembled. He hurriedly got up, "Brother, didn’t you ask me to keep an eye on the Watson Tribe? Today, I finally found out how many beasts they have."
Goudan impatiently ripped into a piece of meat, chewing absentmindedly. "And then?"
Recalling the scent of food near the Watson Tribe, Gouzi swallowed hard several times. "They have more than 500 beasts in total. But every morning, more than 100 go hunting. Over 100 more guard the females who go out foraging, leaving the rest in the tribe."
Goudan pushed aside the meat beneath his claws, rose leisurely, and turned to Gouzi. "So, you mean that the time when they have the fewest orcs is around noon?"
Gouzi nodded, looking eager to please. "Brother, you’re so smart. That’s right, with less than 300 beasts left, we can definitely take them down.
Moreover, the orcs of the Watson Tribe can make a very delicious kind of food. The scent lures me every day. I’m almost starved to death."
Enticed by Gouzi’s description of the delicious food, Goudan’s eyes sparkled. He burst into laughter. "Let’s go. Gather everyone. We’ll go to the Watson Tribe and get some food for the winter!"
Gouzi, dragging his still throbbing body, tagged along excitedly behind Goudan.
Before long, a chorus of hyenas echoed throughout the desolate, stink-filled tribe, their voices full of bloodthirsty excitement.
A frail figure hid in the dirty cave, his eyes dull. He knew that this terrifying group of Hyena Orcs was going to plunder more females and food again, and another tribe was about to suffer the same disaster as they did.
