Chapter 210: Chapter 209, Familiar Beast_1
Lei Er’s words dropped like a bomb among Bosson’s group of orcs, Bosson looked at him in disbelief, "Can broken bones really be healed?"
Seeing their stunned expressions, Lei Er immediately thought of his past self and proudly said without hiding anything, "Really, look at Xiu Yan, isn’t he awesome? Let me tell you, he once broke three of his legs, all bloody and mangled. It was Ji Nuan who treated him. How about now? He’s much better, even more robust than those of you who have never broken a leg."
"Thump!" An intense pain in the back of his head jolted Lei Er out of his boasting. An orc’s chilly voice resounded from behind: "If you’ve nothing to do, go carry some of the injured beasts, hurry and take them back."
Lei Er gave an awkward laugh, then promptly ran over to pick up two injured orcs, "Alright, alright, let’s get going."
Bosson: ...
Could this bootlicker really be the same Golden Lion Orc who was just slaughtering beasts left and right in the horde?
It has to be a fake, right?
Little Pipi was also stunned by Lei Er’s outrageous performance. It was rare to see such a shameless orc these days. She needed to seize the chance to broaden her horizons.
By the time the beasts reached the Tribe, it was already the afternoon. The tall city walls once again left Bosson and the others stunned. For a moment, they stood speechless under the towering walls.
Only when the creaking sound of the falling city gate reached their ears did they draw back their surprised gazes. Watching the heavy gate slowly descending, and finally hit the ground with a solid thud, the shock in their hearts was hard to calm down.
What kind of Tribe is this? Living in such a Tribe, what beast could possibly invade and harm the tribespeople?
Would they even need to worry about females and young cubs getting hurt during a beast tide?
Following behind Xiu Yan and his orcs, stepping through the massive and robust city gate, Bosson hesitantly stopped and turned back to watch as the tall gate slowly rose, eventually securing the whole Tribe firmly.
He thought, the shock Watson Tribe had brought to him, wouldn’t be something he could forget in his lifetime.
"What are you dazing at? Hurry up! Everyone else is far ahead." Little Pipi had hopped a distance ahead only to realize Bosson was still standing there, staring blankly at the towering city wall. She quickly rushed over to call out to him.
Bosson laughed, "The Watson Tribe truly is a powerful tribe!"
Little Pipi nodded earnestly, her eyes full of admiration: "Our tribe chose to relocate due to the onslaught of the beasts. But, the Watson Tribe doesn’t have to worry about it at all. They really are extraordinary."
While conversing, the two orcs quickened their pace to catch up with the others.
The wounded beasts were brought directly to Aunt Shaman’s house. Some orcs had already gone to call Ji Nuan, after seeing the city walls, gates, and now the houses and heated floors, Bosson and the other orcs were again shocked by the strange warmth of these "cave houses". This surely can’t be where Lord Beast God lives, right?
"Bosson?" A familiar voice came from the doorway. Bosson looked over to find the grinning pale little cub in the entrance. Wasn’t this Ji Nuan, who they had kidnapped from the jungle last time?
Seeing a familiar orc, Bosson felt instantly relieved. Ji Nuan had given him some medicinal powder to cure worm sickness last time, she had saved his Amu, she was indeed a good orc!
