Chapter 168: Chapter 167, Unlucky_1
"Hm!" At the same time, Ji Nuan, who had just finished strapping on the beast skin, was dragged into the jungle with her mouth covered by a beast.
The chilling wind against her body made Ji Nuan shiver uncontrollably. The arm around her waist was so strong, it trapped her tight, making it difficult to move an inch.
Seeing the familiar forest receding gradually, Ji Nuan felt depressed, why was she always kidnapped?
"Awoooo!" Xiu Yan’s furious howl came from the forest behind, causing Bosson and the surrounding Orcs’ faces to turn grave.
"Bosson, why don’t we just ask directly? Taking a young female and angering the tribe in the Eneru Forest is not a great idea!" The Orc’s voice hinted clear apprehension.
Bosson, the Snow Leopard Orc, was still tightly holding Ji Nuan, running quickly forward: "She’s just a female cub, they will return if they can’t find her. I just saw it, there are a lot of females in their tribe. Would they really risk them all for this little female cub?"
Relieved, the Orc nodded.
Ji Nuan listened quietly to the beasts’ conversations, astonished. From what these Orcs were saying, they didn’t seem to belong to the Eneru Forest!
Could they be Orcs from some other mountain ranges separated by land?
How did they cross those towering mountain ranges to reach the Eneru Forest?
After the Orcs ran for a while, they finally stopped in a valley as it was getting dark.
Bosson let go of the female in his arms: "Norwe, take few Orcs and go hunting. The rest of you, keep a lookout around. If wild beasts are found, use the tasteless grass quickly. Don’t get caught, don’t expose our tracks."
Having finished assignments, he then turned back to the unusually quiet and obedient female cub :"Which tribe are you from?"
Ji Nuan glanced at him and smiled in response, "I’m from the Tumang Tribe of the Eneru Forest. And your tribe?"
Ji Nuan’s composure appeared to raise Bosson’s eyebrows. This little female cub had guts: "You don’t need to ask about us. Answer a few questions and I’ll let you go."
Upon hearing this, Ji Nuan laughed: "Oh? Please ask!"
The Orc’s eyes were crystal clear, devoid of any scheming dark thoughts. It was a relief for Ji Nuan.
Bosson grabbed a beast skin and laid it on the ground to sit on, cocking his head to look at Ji Nuan, "How many tribes are there in this forest?"
Ji Nuan promptly shook her head, "I don’t know. I am not an adult yet, I only go further away when collecting under the protection of Orcs."
The Orc seemed disappointed, scratching his head before asking again, "Has your tribe had ’the bug disease’?"
Ji Nuan’s heart skipped a beat, and she innocently nodded: "Yes, there were some females who caught the bug disease a while ago!"
Bosson’s eyes sparkled brightly: "Does your tribe also have the powder medicine to cure that disease?"
Ji Nuan muttered affirmatively and nodded: "The tribe’s Orcs all got some, and nobody has the bug disease now."
Bosson got up on his feet instantly, knelt halfway to the ground, staring at Ji Nuan with a fervent gaze: "Then do you know which tribe traded the medicine powder with yours?"
Ji Nuan nodded.
Bosson was over the moon, he hadn’t expected this little female cub to know anything about the medicine powder.
"So you..." Before he could finish, a cry of alarm was heard from an Orc.
Bosson stood up somewhat angrily: "What happened!"
