Chapter 120: Chapter 116, Finding the Cat Three_1
Fu Yi tilted his head, "Your brother?"
The little she-cub enthusiastically nodded her small head, "Meow, meow!"
"What’s your brother’s name? I can help you look for him?" Indeed, there were Cat Orcs in the tribe, but as to which one exactly, he couldn’t identify just by their appearance.
"Meow, meow, meow." The little kitten’s round eyes brimmed with excitement as she announced her brother’s name.
Cat Three!
Even the usually composed Fu Yi couldn’t help but twitch at the corners of his mouth. When it came to Cat Three, his memory was indeed crystal clear.
During the crossing of Eneru River, the Cat Beast who sat on the beast’s back with him almost fell into the river out of fear, and even got a minor injury because of that.
It was him who grabbed him just in time in that critical moment, or else, he would have been the only Orc that died during that tribal gathering’s river crossing.
He waved his little paw, "Squeak, squeak!"
Let’s go, I’ll take you to find him.
The little she-cub was beside herself with joy, ceaselessly expressing her gratitude with a continuous "meow, meow" sound. Fu Yi furrowed his eyebrows, the noise from this Cat Clan’s little she-cub was making him irritated.
Cat Three had just returned from a patrol, and was currently gathered around the campfire with the other tribe members, eating deliciously roasted meat.
His eyes occasionally drifted towards the river in the center of the basin, a melancholic look in them.
"Cat Three, what’s wrong?" The Leopard Orc who was patrolling with him, upon seeing his distracted demeanor, couldn’t help but ask.
Chewing on the meat in his mouth, Cat Three said softly, "I miss my parents a bit. I just heard that the Cat Beast Clan is also coming, so I thought my parents would be here too. I wanted to make a trip there to see them."
The Leopard Orc patted his shoulder, "If you want to go, just go. Anyway, we both are already resting. I’ll accompany you there in the afternoon."
Cat Three was deeply moved. He took a big bite of the delicious roasted meat and nodded his head gratefully, tears welling up in his eyes.
"Squeak, squeak?" Cat Three?
A familiar sound came. The Orcs around the fire pit turned to look where the sound came from, and a Lightning Mink was standing near another fire pit in the distance.
"It’s Fu Yi!" The Orcs enthusiastically flocked towards him.
Upon hearing his name, a somewhat confused Cat Three was pulled towards them by the Leopard Orc.
As Ji Nuan’s status in the tribe rose, Fu Yi, being Ji Nuan’s protector, also became an envied figure among the Orcs.
It was only when they got closer that they noticed, there was a fuzzy little ball following Fu Yi.
"It’s a little Cat Beast she-cub!"
"Really, so cute!"
"It would be nice if we could swap her to be a companion!"
Fu Yi was extremely annoyed, these infatuated Orcs couldn’t even move after seeing the little she-cub’s face.
He directly transformed into his Beast form, picking up the little she-cub with a single hand.
Poor little she-cub had her soft belly on Fu Yi’s hand, while her paws hung in the air, the sight of her own big brother rushing towards the beast ring scared the little fellow crazy, she promptly started meowing loudly for help.
The moment Cat Three heard the tender little voice, he knew it was his little sister. He hurriedly rushed forward, taking the soft and cute little sibling from the ungentle Fu Yi’s hand, cradled her in his arms, and started to comfortingly stroke her fur.
"This little one was shouting in front of Ji Nuan’s tent early in the morning. I was afraid she would disturb Ji Nuan so I brought her here, you deal with her." After saying this, he greeted the other Orcs, transformed into his beast form, and with a flash of white light, disappeared from their sight.
