Chapter 125: Chapter 121, The Troublesome _1
"Ji Nuan, have you finished packing everything?" Ge Xing’s voice was as loud as always. Ji Nuan raised his head from the pile of items, his hair standing up in a silly little tuft.
"Done, done!" He said, as he arranged the packed items on the back of a tall Silver Wolf Orc next to him.
Orcs are great, you know. Carrying people, carrying luggage. A-ooh!
Humming a discordant tune, Ji Nuan was in a cheerful mood.
"Cat the Great! Who is Cat the Great?" Suddenly, a commotion came from outside the residence. Ji Nuan paused his work and looked over.
The Orcs of the Tumang Tribe were frantically carrying a pale-faced Ya Li to the entrance of the residence, loudly shouting for Cat the Great.
"What’s going on?!" Cat the Great was somewhat bewildered as he was pulled out by his tribe members. He hadn’t even finished packing his things yet.
"Are you Cat the Great?" A burly Tumang Tribe orc strode up menacingly, grabbing Cat the Great’s arm.
His eyes suddenly turned red: "We were packing our things when we heard Ya Li shouting for Cat the Great. By the time we went to check, he was already lying on the Beast Skin, pale as a sheet."
"Exactly, we asked around for a long time before we found out you’re currently at the Watson Tribe. Can you quickly check what’s going on?"
"Right, didn’t you do something?"
"Exactly, you must give an explanation to our Tumang Tribe!"
Ji Nuan stepped forward: "This isn’t Cat the Great’s doing. He’s been here packing all day and hasn’t gone anywhere."
Having said that, he walked up: "I’m also a disciple of the Shaman. If you trust me, I can help you check."
The Orcs of the Tumang Tribe looked at each other but no one dared to utter a word.
At this moment, Ya Li’s lips trembled as he faintly uttered a few words: "Quick...hurry up..."
Seeing the scene, Ji Nuan felt a strange sense of familiarity.
When Cat the Great’s kitten Miao Miao jumped onto Ya Li yesterday, he had the same near-death look...
Ji Nuan squinted his eyes and observed Ya Li’s surroundings closely.
Indeed, he noticed something unusual at Ya Li’s otherwise relaxed waist. He carefully reached out and grabbed the fluffy tail, then probed deeper to pull out the prime culprit – the tiny fuzzball.
"Meow~"
The kitten stared at Ji Nuan with its watery, large eyes, looking adorable as it mewled softly.
And Ya Li, who had previously appeared on the verge of death, immediately sprung back to life, quickly retreating behind the burly orc out of sheer horror after catching a glimpse of the little fuzzball imprisoned in Ji Nuan’s hand.
Everyone: ...
So, the troublemaker is this little kitten!
Tumang Tribe Orcs: So, Ya Li, who usually looks cunning and cruel, is actually afraid of a little kitten?
Feeling everyone’s eyes on him, Ya Li glared back fiercely.
Everyone felt a chill down their neck: Feel like we know too much, will we be silenced?
By now, Cat the Great was almost scared to death. Why was this child always causing trouble? Why was he incessantly bothering Ya Li, that cruel Snake Orc from the Tumang Tribe? What’s the use of having a pretty face, can it be used as food?
(The deepest malice from the future father-in-law.)
Miao Miao squirmed in Ji Nuan’s hand, constantly uttering pitiful "meows".
Upon hearing meows, Ya Li’s muscles immediately tensed up, as he became so nervous.
