Chapter 23: Infected by his madness Cedric’s grip on her hair was firm, and her skull seemed like it was on fire. He was a psychopath who could flip the switch at any moment. Like who coerces you after turning you on. Abrielle was scared. This was something she knew would eventually happen, but she never expected him to bring it up like this. Her entire body was still heavily stimulated as there was a strong need in her core. "I wanted to get something. It would be very embarrassing if we had gone to the store together." Abrielle could barely talk and dared not scream. It made her wonder if he wasn’t scared of rumours going around about him being abusive to his wife. Cedric’s lips were still close to her ears, and his hand secured her on the waist. There was no escape for her, and even if she was to make a run for the door, how many steps could she make before he would be dragged back by him? His hand stopped gripping her hair and was swirling the ginger strand as an amused look graced her face. "What did you want to buy in this store that was too embarrassing to go with me? I was just curious about what was going on in your mind to try to do something not so smart in Moonstone Harbour. Half the town is in flames because of you." His voice was threatening but still seductive, which was crazy because how can one arouse fear and need at the same time? Abrielle swallowed hard thinking about the next believable lie she was about to tell. She doubted he believed her, but luckily, she was formerly an author, and they were the best at making fake scenarios in their head. "I heard back home that Moonstone Harbour has a lot of interesting herbs and potions from all over the continent. There was one problem we had that I thought would be solved if I paid a visit to the potion store." She continued lying. It made Cedric wonder how she could still think of lies under this condition. Cedric’s hand left her hair and then wrapped around her neck as he pulled her close to his chest,trapping her completely. His other hand was on her waist, had moved under her night garment, and was now drawing circles around her stomach that gave her weird sparks that were super distracting and also stimulating. It made her almost forget that he had his hand around her neck and could kill her at any moment. Cedric was strong, and she was just a little mouse at his mercy, but that would not be the case. She created him and nothing is perfect. If he was perfect then the heroes of the story would not have defeated him although it was difficult they came out successfully in the end. She had information no one in this world had and she would put that in her arsenal and use it to her advantage. She swallowed hard trying to ignore the hand wrapped around her neck or the one on her stomach that was moving slowly to surely towards her core. It was so close to her panties that her throat went dry. The level of arousal she had in this life-threatening situation was crazy; it was like her brain decided to ignore the threat and focus on the anticipated need it craved. He asked her; it seemed like he believed her ridiculous made-up story. Abrielle managed to get her thoughts together and continued talking about her great adventure today in town. "My mother had visited Moonstone Harbour before, and there was this particular store she mentioned in a fleeting moment I wanted to visit, but unfortunately, I lost my way since it was a very busy town. After walking in circles aimlessly and bit, I was even tricked off my money. I found myself in an eerie street." Abrielle suddenly stopped because his hand on her throat tightened. He could just snap her little neck at any time, but that was not what made her stop. Cedric was messing with her entirely; his hand was playing with the band of her panties, tugging and making the fabric enter into her needed core as her arousal increased. He had long fingers, although they were not like the real thing; she would still readily ride on them. Yes, it was right that she was trapped in the hands of the one person who was destined to kill her with his blade, and all her brain could think about at the moment was sex. He sneered into her ears, his breath leaving a ticklish feeling on her skin as it fanned against it. ’ snap out of it, Abrielle!!’ she cautioned her thoughts not to stray, but that was so hard when she felt his member twitch within the slacks of his trousers. He asked her with a threatening low voice. Abrielle still decided to go on with her lies trying to ignore the fact his finger was teasing her down there. Would it kill him to just plunge them inside her? What was she thinking of when he was so mad it seemed like he wanted to kill her? "After you suddenly left on our wedding night. I know with my body I am capable of getting any sane man undone and thought the reason you left the room was because you were incapable of doing it or was embarrassed of your stamina. Knowing about the potion shop, I decided to find it, hoping to get you something to solve your problems, but I got lost and fell into the trap of some dangerous people....." Abrielle was cussing her sharp mouth that just kept on instigating him. Cedric had successfully infected her with his madness.
