I feel like that last statement got Hyun-woo, the real money lover, angry because they would certainly not do the same for him even though he was working his ass off. He was so shameless. I was sure the money they paid him was way more than what they paid me, but nothing ever seems enough for him. But... He let it go and sighed, relieving his headache. "Did Hwang Jo-Pil ever tell you that he was happy to be here?" Hyun-woo asked. "Of course," They both answered in unison with their chest out in full confidence. Okay, I did tell them that I was happy they bought me out of my debts and a life of running, but to be honest, I wasn’t fully happy. The joy I got was the fact that I had no one bothering me for sex, I could eat as much as I wanted, and even read books for as long as I wanted. I could live comfortably under their roof and never work. That was my true joy. Though their handsome faces were also a sight for sore eyes, and my heart thumped every now and then, ahem, I stand my ground on what gives me joy. Hyun-woo didn’t know what to say. If they were that confident that I was happy, then he didn’t have a reason as to why I would remain unconscious even when everything was fine with me. "Is he really not dissatisfied with anything?" He asked in a lower tone, and Ki-hoon stepped up. "If Jo-Pil was ever dissatisfied with anything, we would’ve done all that we could to take it away and make him satisfied. His smile and satisfaction," he gazed at me, and I felt like he was staring right into my soul as his lips curled up gently. "...means the world." My heart thumped. Wait, was that supposed to happen? I was just replaying the scenes, yet it felt like he was talking directly to me and gazing at me with those affectionate eyes of his. Was Ki-hoon already at a 90% success rate? It wouldn’t be surprising. After this accident, they would understand how much they treasured and truly valued me. "Let’s leave Hyung to rest for now," Min-Cheol said. "He will wake up. I believe he will, so I will keep waiting for him." Huh? He’ll wait? Where? Don’t tell me he plans to move on? "I’ll also wait," K-hoon said. Wait, no. I hope it’s not what I’m thinking. I hope they’re not moving in. If they do, then my life will be a disaster. My peace... I could already see it flying through the window. Sob. "I figured the library at the annex must have a lot of old books, so I searched for the latest ones, but I couldn’t even take them home that day cause I heard you had been in an accident," I didn’t think he would do that. He did ask me if I loved books, but I didn’t think he would try to buy me books. That was so thoughtful of him. It was just like when Ki-hoon was told that I was craving instant Ramyeon, he immediately got a fridge full of them and bought its separate fridge as well. They would rush to get me whatever I wanted at the snap of a finger. Knowing this... I asked myself... Why did I hate the idea of coming back so much? The Alphas were... Very, very good to me. Just thinking about me got me teary-eyed. "I went back to the book shop today," Min-Cheol said, and I could feel him flipping the pages of a book. "I was in luck because there was a fresh release of novels from a famous author. I don’t know who he is, but everyone at the bookstore was talking about him, and I was ignored, haha," he laughed. I couldn’t believe it, though. There was no way anyone would be able to ignore Min-Cheol. Not only is he a powerful Alpha, but he is incredibly handsome with a baby face. No one in their right mind, especially book lovers, would see this face and ignore him. He was a walking main character, after all.
