Chapter 141: I’ll go with you "Please, be careful." He kissed the top of my head. "And I’m sorry if I overwhelmed you." "It’s okay." I said with a soft voice, and opened my mouth to speak but quickly closed it and smiled instead. "Good night." I quickly said and walked away with Min-Cheol, sighing silently in relief. That was close. I almost made the mistake of giving him hope by saying next time he should take it slow. I was glad I held my tongue, if not, I might’ve landed myself in yet another predicament. Let’s put such a stunt off in the meantime. It felt good but the feeling of my knees going weak and me becoming vulnerable to the point that I couldn’t think clearly and would go along with whatever they wanted was scary in its own right. "Hyung," Min-Cheol called and I turned around, finding him closing the door. He blushed as he walked towards me and said, "Thank you." I didn’t know why he said that but he kissed my forehead before going off to bed. So, so many bizarre things happened on this very day, and I don’t even want to start on how exhausted and weak I feel, but... It all ended with no tragedy. Thankfully. I wrote the Chapters just as Seo-Jun wanted. It was exhausting and by the end of it, I couldn’t feel my palms. ’I think I’ll take it slow from now on.’ I thought to myself as I stared at my soft and fragile palm. I clenched it and closed my eyes. ’I will definitely not start a new story for him unless the circumstances need it.’ I sighed and attempted to get down from the bed but Min-Cheol had his arms wrapped around my waist. I was glad he went straight to bed but with him clinging like this to me, how was I supposed to get out of bed? ’He was always so clingy, I guess.’ I thought, smiling softly, and brushed his hair. He was vulnerable as he slept. Come to think of it, Min-Cheol was the kind of character who never showed his back to anyone, not even those working for him. And what I mean by that is that he never showed his vulnerable side. He smiled a lot but we all know those smiles were fake. Min-Cheol, before meeting me, had never had a real reason to smile. Nothing made him smile honestly. And he could never be himself around anyone. It was as if he was living just because he needed to live and giving everyone what they wanted; fulfilling the expectations they had of him. Which is why I felt his life was more tragic than anyone else. I pursed my lips and then leaned down to kiss his forehead. Hmm, it’s not like I didn’t have enough of the kisses they drowned me with earlier, but... I felt he needed this little peck. I was able to free myself from his hold but he woke up. "Hyung?" He called as he caught my top by the hem, rubbing his eyes like a kid. He was adorable, but I guess I should’ve been a little more careful. At least he didn’t wake up when I kissed his head. "It’s alright, Little Min, I’m just going to find the maids that are awake." I said to him but he did not let go. "I’ll go with you," he said, sitting up. "No, no, it’s fine." I said but he was already getting down out of bed and wearing his slippers. Jeez, he didn’t need to worry. Why was he being so paranoid? "Let’s go, Hyung." He said and I sighed. Guess there was no harm there. I got up and walked ahead of him but then he grabbed my butt, causing me to flinch. With sleepy eyes, he asked, "Does it hurt, Hyung?" Ah, what was it now? "I saw him spank you hard." Min-Cheol said. Oh, he was referring to how Seo-Jun spanked me earlier. To think he would only recall it now in his half-sleep state. He was something. "It’s fine." I said. "I stopped feeling it throb after a while." "He shouldn’t spank you like that," he said as we started walking. He dropped his chin on my shoulder and had his arms wrapped around me. I could tell he was still sleepy by the way he snuggled on me but he wouldn’t listen to me when I said to stay back. I sighed once more and raised my hand to brush his hair softly. "That’s so nice, Hyung." He said with a soft sleepy tone. Since Min-Cheol was with me, I guess I didn’t need to bother going to look for the maids. If I were alone, I wouldn’t mind taking a thousand steps to go find the maids and give them the book, rather than going a hundred steps to Seo-Jun’s room. You get what I’m saying. Anyway, I don’t need to go that far now. At least, that’s what I thought, and boy was I wrong. It was twelve midnight, and the halls were dimly lit, but it was light enough to allow one’s perfect vision. Min-Cheol followed my steps closely behind me because his body was glued to mine. If not that he was walking on his own, I’d have phrased it that I was carrying his weight while I headed to Seo-Jun’s room. I yawned. It was fun relieving that story as I wrote it but I think I outdid myself today. Just how many incidents took place that had me at the center of it? If this content was written in the novel instead of the original then I’m sure the novel would’ve been more popular and well liked rather than what it got. I arrived at Seo-Jun’s room door and glanced at Min-Cheol’s face to find him sleeping. Well, maybe not sleeping but his eyes were definitely closed. I knocked on the door and in an instant, the door opened. I saw Seo-Jun standing shirtless before me, and his body glistened with sweat as if he had been exercising or something, but he definitely was sweating, and as he gazed at me, he had a wide grin on his lips, his eyes scanning my dark eyebags and my sharp brown eyes. "I’ll be done in no time." He said to me as I accepted the book I was stretching towards him. "But what happened to sending it through a maid?" "It’s none of your business." I said, and his eyes scurried to Min-Cheol, who was glaring at him. I didn’t even know when he had opened his eyes but it looked like he was on full alert the moment he heard Seo-Jun’s voice. That was good. "Did you become confident because you had a guard dog accompany you?" Okay, now he was just looking for trouble. Best to leave before things get heated. I decided to turn around but Seo-Jun did the unthinkable and pushed Min-Cheol’s face away just so he could kiss my lips. Furious, I bit his lip till it bled. I don’t know how I keep making miscalculations and falling into Seo-Jun’s arms but it had to stop... Somehow.
