Chapter 30 - I hope he asks me that question again I hadn't taken my bath all day, and I was sweating a lot thanks to the fever, so I was feeling uncomfortable. I usually did a lot of tedious work when I was a sales manager and even before then, so I knew how uncomfortable it was to have sweat dried on my skin. I was even worried I would start to smell. It was even more uncomfortable since Ki-hoon was holding my hand and staying right next to me. The worry that I would smell and he would get a whiff of it made me panic. "Are you okay?" He asked but I could only shake my head. Maybe it was thanks to our hands that were connected but I could tell he was somehow feeling my discomfort. "Jo-Pil," he called and I gulped. "Yes, master?" I turned my head only to find his hand to his nose and his eyebrows furrowed. Oh no, was I starting to smell? I hated this. But then he said something quite contrary to what I was worrying about. "You're leaking Pheromones," he said and I flinched. Seriously? I thought he covered his nose because I stunk but it was because I was releasing Pheromones? How did I not know that? Oh, right. I had that problem of not being able to feel my pheromones. The only thing I was currently feeling was the dried sweat on my skin and nothing more. "I... I'm sorry, master. I don't know how to control my Pheromones." I got frantic, trying to make sure he didn't get the wrong idea. "I don't know why, but I don't have complete control over my pheromones." If he got the idea, he might just think I was inviting him to have sex with me and that was something I'd like to avoid. "You can't control your Pheromones?" He asked and I nodded. Yeah, that's what I just said. "The Doctor said it was an unusual case and he would look into it but... " I turned the other way and started getting out of the bed. "I don't know what it suddenly got out of control. I'll just get away from you first, so can you leave me alone for a while?" That was bold of me but there was nothing else to do. If he didn't leave and for whatever reason, I was releasing Pheromones, causing my Pheromones to spread even further, we would both be in hot soup. "I'll wait for you at the dining table," he said, getting down from the bed, and I felt relieved. Thank goodness he wasn't being unreasonable. "Is something still troubling you?" He asked, just before he walked out and I looked at him, wondering what he could be referring to. "Not really," I answered, without giving it much thought and he nodded before heading out. And it was as soon as he headed out that I realized what that question might've meant. For me, who had to service four different Alphas, strangers nonetheless, he probably thought I was worried about that fact, and that was why I was releasing my Pheromones. They say one can convey emotions through Pheromones. So maybe what he felt from my Pheromones was something disturbing and wondering if I had something on my mind. 'Shit, I should've taken that chance.' I thought as I punched the pillow with all my might. "Ouch." The hand I used to receive the drip stung and I hissed. This was so annoying. I wasn't a dumb person so how did I not realize the kind of sign he was showing me? "I hope he asks me that question again." The maids opened the door and walked in. Yeah, it was time to bathe. I sighed and started taking off my shirt. After three days of staying there and having my bath handled by ladies, I think I was no longer shy to take off my clothes in front of them. However, there was still that singular bit of embarrassment. My mentality of a grown man in the real world could not die that easily but I knew with time it would eventually disappear. The shame of being bathed, I mean. By the time I got out of the bathroom, my nerves had all calmed down. I don't know if I stopped releasing Pheromones and the maids wouldn't either but I hoped I had because it would be embarrassing if I had to go out while I was still leaking some sort of love perfume that would entice Ki-hoon into lusting after me. I got dressed in something comfortable and thick. Ki-hoon must've signaled that I catch colds quickly, so I was made to wear comfortable nightwear. 'Hm, I was sure he would make me dress formally just to have dinner like he did the first time.' I mean, who wears a waistcoat and a belt just to have dinner before sleeping? They were so full of themselves. He seemed to have warmed up to me quite quickly and stopped the order of wearing formal attire to dinner. I headed out to the dining table and saw Ki-hoon seated with my book from the library in his hand. He seemed to be invested in it after picking it up the first time. But that wasn't the surprising part. What the hell was Min-Cheol doing at the dinner table, smiling and waving at me as if we were best buddies? "Hey, Hyung. You look so cute in that nightwear." He said and I swear I saw Ki-hoon's eyebrow tilt up as soon as he heard that. "'Hyung'?" He asked and Min-Cheol turned to him, keeping his smile up. "What? Do you have a problem with it, old man?" Min-Cheol asked with a mocking smirk. "Hyung is older than me so it's only right that I'm respectful, don't you think? And he said it's okay to call him that, right Hyung?" He turned to me and I darted my eyes away. Don't you dare drag me into this? You called me that on your own. "If we're talking about respect to elders then you're the last person who upholds to that." Ki-hoon did not hold back and Min-Cheol's smile went dark. Though, he was still smiling, he looked like he would kill someone with that look in his eyes. Come on, were they going to have an episode in front of the food? It was dinner time, for crying out loud and I hadn't eaten anything all day. "Master," I called Ki-hoon, "...and..." Hope this does not cause trouble. "Little Min?" I called, and as I feared, Ki-hoon's expression quickly darkened, but I ignored it, acting like I wasn't seeing anything. However, I had begun to sweat from the fire coming from his eyes. Goodness, this was the problem with having two loyal men. They would always fight for attention. If the scale of my attention tilts to one then it would be a disaster. But honestly, I didn't think I would get to this point so soon. While it was good to have them wrapped around my fingers, I'd have to worry about keeping the order of things, so they don't rip their necks or mine, trying to get my attention. I wiped my sweat, not daring to look either of them in the eye. I just wanted to have dinner in peace.
