Chapter 151: Why did it get hotter? We finally got into the building and were directed by the pretty and polite lady at the front. She smiled at us and didn’t even seem intimidated by the three behind me. She was a professional, I’d say. Since we were practically VIPs, I was sure we would get special treatment during the reception but I didn’t even know if that was special treatment or not since I’d never visited a spa before. I sighed. "I’ll go take a bath first." I said to them and turned my head left and right, wondering which of the two doors led to the bathroom. As if my question was written on my face, I heard Seo-Jun say, "They both lead to the bathroom." He said and I turned my head slightly. "And I bet it’s a big bathroom." He snickered. In other words, we were meant to share the bathroom. My forehead creased a little, in discomfort but let it out with another sigh and said, "I’ll be quick. So, please let me use it for a few minutes." I asked, glancing at them to hear their response. "Of course, Hyung. Take your time." Min-Cheol said, easily ready to give me whatever I wanted. "It’s not a problem. We’ll just wait." Jin-Yeok said and I nodded, turning my gaze to the last one, Seo-Jun. He was yet to respond and he looked like he didn’t want to respond. I could trust that the other two would stop him if he wanted to act funny, right? I turned to the door and walked in. The bathroom was just as I recalled seeing in a spa advertisement one day in the other world. The bathroom was large and there were about six showers, each divided by a short glass wall. And that wasn’t all. There was also a pool too. I was confused. Wasn’t the pool supposed to be in the sauna or maybe where the swimming pool was supposed to be? But I guess it wasn’t exactly a swimming pool since it didn’t go past one’s knee level and had steps to allow one to sit comfortably. ’Awn, I really wish I could dip in there for a while.’ I thought, my expression filled with longing and disappointment. ’But I can’t waste much time so I’ll just take a quick bath and hurry out.’ Come to think of it, how long had it been since I took a bath on my own? The maids were treating me like I was still a piece of antique they couldn’t afford to be careless with. I liked the treatment and had gotten used to it. In fact, I was no longer complaining, but... There was always a but. I turned on the shower and hot water rained down on me, the temperature just right. It felt relaxing, but gradually, it started getting hotter, and by the time I realized it, the back of my neck had already started to feel burnt. "Aish," I exclaimed as I stepped away urgently, my back hitting the glass where I had dropped my towel. "Ugh." I touched my neck my body trembling. It was hot and stung quite a hot. I bet it was red. Why did it get hotter? If I had stayed even a litrle bit more, I’d have definitely gotten scalded. I hoped it didn’t scald. I thought as I tried to take a look at the back of my neck, but there was no mirror, so I could only think of the first viable option, and that was to put cold water on it. Maybe it was because I had forgotten that when taking a shower, one had to turn on a little bit of cold water before turning on the hot water so the water wouldn’t be too hot. I had forgotten that and didn’t even realize it because the water happened to be the right temperature as soon as I turned it on, but that was just the hot water that had cooled down a bit in the pipe. ’Why am I so careless?’ I asked myself as the cold water rained down on my neck. I bit my lip. It stung a bit. I got out of the cold water soon enough, so I wouldn’t end up catching a cold, and turned on the hot water again, but this time, I did not forget to mix it a bit with cold water. "Hey, aren’t you done in there?" I heard Seo-Jun’s voice as he banged the door and I flinched. That startled me. Why was he so impatient? "I... I’m coming." I yelled back and turned off the shower. This should be enough. I reached for the towel I had dropped on the glass, only to discover I had accidentally knocked it down after I got burnt with the hot water and it was now soaked on the floor. "No, no, no, no, why is this happening?" I pressed my lips together, disgruntled as I lifted it. Something was definitely wrong somewhere. I was never like this. ’First, let’s get another towel.’ I thought and looked up but there was no towel. I had dropped my spa uniform on the other side glass so it didn’t fall like the towel did. ’But there’s no towel. What do I do? Should I wear the spa uniform like that?’ Then, Seo-Jun banged on the door again, startling me once more. "It’s been more than a few minutes. Are you planning to spend the rest of the day there?" No, moron, and stop rushing me. I’m in the middle of a crisis here. "Ugh." I had no choice but to get a towel from outside. I didn’t want to move around with a wet towel after all. I walked towards the door and slightly opened it. I knew the first person I would see was Seo-Jun since he was so impatiently knocking every five seconds. Why did the others not stop him? It was as if that was the only way to guarantee him staying put. They let him act out, so long he didn’t walk in. "U-um, master?" I called, my voice low as my eyes darted towards the side, unable to make eye contact. "Can I have another towel? Mine fell and... I can’t use it."
