Chapter 35 - Wait, no. I can't go out like this If anyone asked me what happened after I said such ridiculous things, I'd honestly say, 'I don't know' because I didn't want things to her awkward or get asked further questions that would tempt me to spill my true feelings so I laid on the bed right away and closed my eyes, going to sleep right away. The other two did not say anything more and let me be. I did feel them snuggling at both my sides so I was sure I was still in their good books. Just what the hell did I think I was going to say? 'Oh, I hate the thought of childbearing. I never want to try it since it'll hurt like hell. I don't want to give birth and the thought never crossed my mind.' How would they react if I boldly said something like that? I wasn't ready to find out so I let it die there. The next morning when I woke up, I found myself alone on the bed. My legs were spread wide and so were my arms. I was suddenly lying down vertically on my bed. Wait, do I have bad sleeping posture? I hope I didn't smack my hand on their faces while they were asleep. Wait, so what if I did? Haha, an excuse to hit them without getting blamed. However, there was one specific individual I would very much like to hit on our first encounter. I had also started secretly plotting the way it would all work out. I cackled like a scheming snake and then the door opened. I immediately fixed my expression and stretched my arms as if I were just sitting up. "Good morning," I said to the maids who were coming in. I guessed it was time for my morning bath but where were the rest of them? Why was there only one maid? "Master," she bowed her head. "Your presence is needed in the living room." She said and my eyebrows slightly twitched. Why did this scene look so familiar? Wait, what day was it? It was the fourth day. So, that means... My eyes widened. I was going to meet the third Alpha today. "Ah, do I need to get dressed? Don't I need to take a bath first?" The Alpha I was going to meet had a unique interest, so if I was going to impress him and somehow get him to my side, then I'd have to dress to kill. "There is no time for that," she said, walking up to me. "...you have to go down now." "Wait, no. I can't go out like this." I said but then she got behind me and started pushing me out. "I'm serious, can't I at least brush my teeth?" She went silent, not listening to a word I said till I was out of the room. From there, she stretched her hand forward, signaling me to walk the rest of the way on my own; if not, she would definitely push me all the way down the stairs, and if anything happened, it was on me. That was just my interpretation though. Me and my wild imagination. She would definitely get her head cut off if I were to suddenly die after she pushed me down the stairs. I mean, where else does one find a rare Omega like me? "Alright fine." I said and started walking down on my own. Seriously, I still hadn't come up with a plan to impress that Alpha. It's not like I came up with a plan for the other two, but I did think beforehand that it would be nice to tell Ki-hoon the truth from the get-go to avoid any more misunderstanding and hate. Right now, he was probably trying to make it up to me for misunderstanding me and had gone back to his old ways. As for Min-Cheol, his arrival was also unexpected but I was able to get by with just saying a few words to make him let his guard down. My sob story contributed to it as well, and since I was 'one of a kind', he was pleased to spend time with me. So, for this Alpha, are there any tricks I can use to win him over? Jo-Pil clenched the railing and clenched his fist, knowing this was yet another one of the men who had come to make claim to his innocent body. Another to defile him and force their expectations on him. He grabbed his thigh with his other hand, digging his fingers through his pants, and planned to turn around, wishing not to see him, but the maids stood behind him, their gaze cold as they expected him to try and run. Seeing the maids, he lost hope of avoiding this man and went down the stairs. As soon as he got to the door of the stairs, this Alpha noticed his presence and turned around, the coat hanging on his shoulder flapping softly. "Hwang Jo-Pil," he called his name and gently chuckled. "I don't know why everyone makes it such a big issue. You're just a human, weak and defenseless." Jo-Pil saw the third Alpha even before he finished descending the stairs but I was yet to spot him. What was going on? I snapped out of it when I heard Min-Cheol call out to me. "Hyung," I raised my head and took about two steps before he caught up to me. "Little Min," I called and he enveloped me in his arm, squeezing my head to his chest. "Good morning," he said. Wow, this was such a hearty morning greeting. Was there an event I didn't know about?
