Chapter 147: It had everything to do with now "Did you just call me unpleasant?" Seo-Jun asked and I could feel chills in the air. The situation just turned dire. "What? Do you think I’ll take it back just because you glare at me? After everything you’ve done? If you want to have a fight then go ahead. Come at me." Min-Cheol spat out, fearlessly. He glared at Seo-Jun, his face contorting in anger. "Stand here for a moment," Jin-Yeok whispered to me as he pulled me to his side so I wouldn’t get caught up in their fight. Min-Cheol wasn’t going to back down this time. He had had it with Seo-Jun’s vulgar and irrational behavior around me. "What makes me unpleasant, you stinky brat? Do you want me to put you in your place?" Thankfully, we were already inside the theater, so there weren’t a lot of people, but anyone could walk by any moment and see what was going on, so I hoped a fight wouldn’t break out and get caught on camera. I mean, it wouldn’t have anything to do with me because they would be the ones engaged in the fight but... "It’s for evidence." I said, my eyes darting away. What? Don’t judge me. It was for evidence of how this man was acting so sexy during an argument. "So, what’s your point?" Seo-Jun asked, placing his hands on his waist and leaning his upper body forward. "What does any of that have to do with now? You’re just looking for a fight, aren’t you? You’re fed up and..." "It has everything to do with now." Min-Cheol roared at him. "I’m trying to prove a point with how you only see Hyung as a mere toy when he’s a person." He said and I flinched. Ah, that gave me goosebumps just now. Did anyone else get that goosebump? I turned to Jin-Yeok who was eating popcorn. Where the hell did he get that from? He noticed my gaze and looked down at me. "Where are my manners?" He asked and stretched it towards me. "Here, have some." He said and I took it, staring at it. Jin-Yeok... This seemed like a show for him, didn’t it? He was enjoying this. "Since we can’t watch the initial movie we wanted to watch," I heard him say, "I decided to entertain the one playing in front of me." Hmm, that makes sense. I guess no drama would be as interesting as a real-life argument between two hot Alphas. I decided to also enjoy the show and ate the popcorn. "You’re despicable and unpleasant." Micheal repeated, his clenched fists trembling. "You force Hyung into things he doesn’t want to do all for your own amusement and that’s the one thing Hyung doesn’t like. He hates being forced. He’s a human, not a toy so stop playing with him like that and treat him like a human, dammit!" Once again, I got those goosebumps and it made me pause. I don’t know if it was because I was the subject of the argument or because of the words Min-Cheol was saying or... I glanced at Seo-Jun... The still expression on Seo-Jun’s face that subtly shifted each time I got those goosebumps. "If... if you can at least act nice," Min-Cheol said, his entire body trembling in rage. "...and ask nicely instead of being such a violent ass then Hyung might agree to play with you." Okay, hold on there. Did you just say I might agree to ’play’ with him? Let’s strike that out, okay? "But even if you start acting that way now, you’ll only seem even more suspicious and we can’t trust Hyung with you." That was true. "You’ve done enough to show us that Hyung can never be safe with you so give up. Don’t bother Hyung anymore. If you’re sexually frustrated then go find the people you usually find. Don’t try anything stupid and do not..." Min-Cheol glared. "...drag Hyung into one of your depraved plays without his permission." Everyone went silent. Even me. I couldn’t believe it. I couldn’t believe Min-Cheol would step up and speak on my behalf, rebuking Seo-Jun so hard and spilling out everything in his mind. The words I wished I could spill out with my own mouth. Min-Cheol hated Seo-Jun a lot, and his hatred kept growing because Seo-Jun just kept getting in his way and pushing himself on me. I glanced at Seo-Jun. For someone who didn’t care about what others said and just did whatever the hell he liked, he was quiet. It was as if he was actually thinking about what Min-Cheol had said to him. His gaze was dark though. He had just been lectured by a kid three years younger than him. Seo-Jun and the other three masters shared the same age, but Seo-Jun was a few months ahead of the others, and that was why he was the eldest, but the most childish in terms of his pranks and his misgivings. After Min-Cheol’s lecture, I was expecting the first thing Seo-Jun to say was the fact that he bought me just so he could have sex and get a kid out of me, not pamper me like an equal partner, but he didn’t, which shocked me, completely. For a moment, I felt I was alone in a white space, and there was a huge distance between me and the only person in that white space. The look in Seo-Jun’s eyes... I couldn’t understand it. "Haa," he sighed once more, brushing the back of his neck. His expression changed completely and once again, he looked nonchalant and had that bastard smirk on his lips. I thought it was finally time for him to show his true colors but he didn’t say anything about it and simply said, "Can we go now? We’re already late for the movie." My breath got caught for more than a second. Just now... What had happened?
