Chapter 7: He's so pretty I managed to calm down and while I was taking my time to feel comfortable, they had started filling the tub with just the right temperature that would help me relax. Honestly, I thought a lot about it. What was the worst that could happen besides losing my dignity as a man? Well, I would get choked for being disobedient, that was a fact. I would get on Ki-hoon's nerves and he would raise his guard up against me even more. My goal was to make him drop his guard, get friendly with me, and maybe clear up the misunderstanding he had about Jo-Pil from their past. A nice and calm conversation would do the trick. But in order to have a nice and calm conversation where what I say to him won't go into one ear and go out the other, I needed to gain a bit of his trust. "Alright, I... I'm ready." I announced and the maids began their work. I shut my eyes tight and let them take off the rest of my rags for clothes. I opened my eyes for a second to peek at my lower half and then sighed. I didn't have much expectations since the author made sure to emphasize how Jo-Pil was on the small side and the entire thing could fit in on hand. I wasn't on the bigger side to begin with so there was not much disappointment or regret. Compared to Jo-Pil, the others had... I gulped... Quite the weapon in their pants. I shut my eyes again because I didn't want to feel uncomfortable by their hands, but to my surprise, their touch was so gentle and relaxing that I ended up giving up completely and letting them do whatever they wanted. My body did not text to their touch as a man would normally react to a woman so I was certain that this body was made for Alphas. The part I loved most was the hair scrub. That cold-looking maid took charge of that area and melted all of my worries as well as my ability to think with her hand scrubbing through my hair. I had dark brown hair that could be mistaken for black, but I knew black hair when I saw one. As for my face... Hmm, I was yet to take a look at my reflection. I wondered what the face of this body looked like. I recalled Jo-Pil's description from the author. He had a slender frame and a pure and innocent face. His eyes were a light shade of brown that lit up gold when he was deeply aroused or in heat. His lips were small and pouty. Gosh, I just couldn't help but wonder if the appearance of Jo-Pil was just as I imagined it when I read the novel. Right at this point, even without looking at my reflection, I could tell that my so-called slender body was just a lie of bones because of how much Jo-Pil had been starved. My collarbone was so visible, and my cheeks were also sunken. 'I'll probably need to eat a lot to regain what was lost.' I thought as the maids dried me up. And then, they held me put on a robe. Seriously, I had working hands. We walked out of the bathroom and I noticed the mirror that I had not gotten a chance to look at when the maids hurled me towards the bathroom. As soon as I saw the face of Jo-Pil, my eyes widened. Just as the author described. Dark brown hair, big light brown eyes, long curly eyelashes lips that were small yet pouty, very kissable top, and a pretty face. "Ah, I'm starting to wonder if Jo-Pil's face was the real reason the Alphas didn't want to let him go." I wondered out loud subconsciously. "He's so pretty." Even when I was looking so skinny and worn out, my skin was still glowing. Was this what they called the main character holo? If I eat a lot and fatten up my face as well as recover all the skin Jo-Pil lost while starving away, will I glow even more than this? Gosh, it seemed like I was in trouble. "If he's ready, I'd like to conduct the check-up now." The man who had been resting on the wall said and I turned to him. He sounded like a grumpy old man. Seriously, why was everyone so grumpy? If he didn't want to do it, he could just-- ah, I finally remembered who he was. Cha Hyun-woo. He was a young famous doctor who served as an exclusive doctor for the four Alphas. He didn't treat anyone aside from the four of them, but then when they brought their breeding mate home, he was put in charge of his health as well as his daily check-ups. It was basically so that they could discover if Jo-Pil was pregnant as soon as it happened and be able to tell who the father was. He was also in charge of treating Jo-Pil each time the Alphas got rough with him or he passed out during one of their sexcapades. He had a lot of work cut out for him but along the line, he began to feel pity for Jo-Pil. I think he even had a crush on him at one point, but he could not even voice his feelings because Jo-Pil belonged to the four Alphas, and whoever interfered had a death wish. Even if it was him. He had such a huge impact on the story. I can't believe I forgot such a person. Right at this point, he's still a grumpy character who's dissatisfied that he has been put in charge of Jo-Pil and finds him unbearable but he did not say anything to him because he didn't want to get too involved with Jo-Pil or the Alphas affairs. Yet, he found it even more unbearable when Jo-Pil kept resisting and accumulating more wounds. He even got so annoyed that he wanted to just get rid of him to free him from his torment, but he held himself back. He left such a strong impression in the later parts of the novel. Oh, there was one more characteristic of this character that I couldn't forget. He liked money... A lot. That was why he was working for the four powerful Alphas and no one else. Cha Hyun-woo dropped his case on the bed and put on a pair of medical rubber gloves. Then he took out his stethoscope and hung it on his neck before turning to glance at me who was paying attention to what he was doing. He turned away after that brief glance and took out a few tubes. At least he didn't sneer at me. "I'm going to conduct some tests to make sure you're... Safe. So..." He took out his syringe and said, "I'll be taking some blood samples."
