Chapter 58: Home(2) Lethia’s mind reeled—while she and Caelum had been drowning in lust, Renar had been losing his sanity, panicking, thinking she’d gone missing. ’What the hell have I done? Why would Renar go this far? Why in the world was she even overthinking any of this? She felt guilty? Fine. She’d deal with that. She’d find a way to ease the weight in her chest. But Renar’s feelings? Why the fuck was she even wasting energy on something she couldn’t control? Lethia stormed into the bathroom and stripped down. After she stepped out and dried off, she paused in front of the full-body mirror, turning slightly to glance at her side profile. She didn’t bother changing—went straight for that see-through sky-blue nightgown. No one else was in the penthouse anyway, just her. But just as she reached the end of the corridor and turned the corner, her steps halted, eyes widening in disbelief— The elevator doors slid open, and there he was. Renar stepped out with an equally shocked expression, his gaze locked on what he was seeing. "Wh—what are you doing here?" The dumb-awkward question spilled out of Lethia’s lips before she could stop it. Renar chuckled, clearly amused. "I’m just... home."
