Chapter 63 - GangB- *cough* Three on One!! Ren didn't waste a second. He chased after Ni, his fists flying in a relentless barrage of punches. She tried to block them, but Ren attacked from multiple angles, not giving her a single moment to recover. With a final, powerful punch to her stomach, he sent her crashing into the ground with tremendous force. He prepared to follow up and finish the assault, but suddenly, a surge of electricity exploded around her, crackling violently and repelling everything nearby. Realizing he couldn't approach without injury, Ren quickly closed the First Gate and retreated. He returned to Utakata and Bear, and saw that Bear had now fully recovered, just as Utakata had said. The three of them stood ready, facing the point where Ni had landed. As the lightning storm around her faded, Ni slowly stood up, her once-mocking expression replaced with pure rage. Her face was swollen and bruised from Ren's strikes. Her eyes locked on Ren as she screamed furiously, "YOU BASTARD! HOW DARE YOU RUIN MY FACE?! I'LL KILL YOU!!" She rapidly formed hand signs and slammed her palms on the ground. A massive cloud of smoke erupted, and when it cleared, standing before them was a monstrous creature. It was a lion-turtle hybrid, its body covered in spiked armor plating, its face that of a lion with sharp, furious eyes. But things got even stranger as Ni jumped onto the beast's head and started weaving another set of hand seals and she muttered, "[Chimera Technique.]" Her legs began to merge into the creature's skull, slowly being absorbed until only her torso remained above, now fused to the beast, a long whip crackling with energy coiled in her hand. With a sadistic grin, she raised the whip and shouted, "And now the real fight begins!" The beast roared, inhaled deeply, and unleashed a massive beam of fire aimed directly at the three shinobi. Utakata stepped forward, hands blurring into motion. [Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu!] A powerful water dragon collided with the incoming fire, creating a massive explosion of steam that quickly began to envelop the battlefield. Reacting instantly, Ren inhaled a huge amount of air and released the [Wind Style: Great Breakthrough Jutsu!] A powerful gust of wind blew through the steam, dispersing it to restore visibility and safety. It was crucial, since Ni's Storm Release would thrive in an area filled with large amount of steam. Taking advantage of the brief opening, Bear stepped up. [Earth Style: Terrain Lockdown!] The ground beneath the beast softened and turned to mud, pulling the creature down before instantly solidifying again, locking its limbs in place. Ren saw his chance. He flickered above the beast, ready to strike, but just as he moved in, Ni lashed out with her technique, [Storm Style: Lightning Serpent Whip!] The whip cracked toward him with blinding speed, forcing Ren to flicker away mid-air to avoid the electrified strike. Meanwhile, Utakata reappeared behind the restrained beast, his hands moving swiftly as he launched another jutsu, [Water Style: Water Saw Jutsu!] High-speed rotating blades of water sliced toward the beast's legs, aiming just above the part that was locked in the earth. But to his surprise, the attack left only a shallow wound, barely scratching the creature's thick armor. The beast howled in pain and fury, then with a massive surge of strength, it shattered the ground around it, breaking free from Bear's trap and roaring with renewed aggression. Ni seized the opening and unleashed her next technique, [Storm Release: Lightning Dance Barrage!] A flurry of high-speed, lightning-infused water projectiles rained down upon the three shinobi below. Bear immediately stepped forward, shielding Ren and Utakata. He slammed his hands to the ground and called out, [Earth Style: Earth Dome!] A solid dome of rock erupted around them, blocking the barrage for the moment. Inside the dome, Utakata quickly spoke, "Unlike the dogs, this beast is slightly immune to slicing attacks. It would take time to prepare a highly compressed wind attack so we'll need to rely on blunt force or explosive damage to take it down." Just as he finished, the dome cracked loudly, a web of fractures appearing across its surface. BOOM! With one more concentrated strike, the entire Earth Dome shattered, rock flying in all directions. The only way an Earth dome could be broken so fast was if Ni had focused every single projectile on one point, breaking through with brute force. The attacked ones were already on the move. All three instantly flickered away in separate directions, avoiding the collapsing dome and the aftermath of the barrage. However, Ni had already shifted tactics. Now, the beast she was merged with began to circle around the battlefield, its massive body surprisingly agile. As it moved, it continuously breathed streams of fire, scorching the ground and trying to trap the shinobi with flames. Bear attempted to repeat his earlier move, quickly forming seals for the [Earth Style: Terrain Lockdown!] Once again, the earth below the beast began to soften, preparing to trap its feet. But this time, the beast reacted as it leapt high into the air, narrowly avoiding the earth as it began to solidify beneath it. It landed heavily, snarling and growling, as Ni let out a mocking laugh from atop the beast, her whip crackling with energy as she prepared for another round. The three Leaf shinobi separated swiftly, launching attacks from three different directions to corner their opponent. Utakata charged head-on toward Ni, with Bear flanking alongside him. As Utakata surged forward, he suddenly flickered behind the beast, a Big Ball Rasengan already formed in his hand. Ni tried to intercept him with a lightning strike from above but Bear was already prepared. Covered in a solid layer of Earth Armor, Bear appeared just in time, taking the full brunt of the lightning attack meant for Utakata. The lightning cracked and sparked against the armor but couldn't pierce it. Utakata didn't even glance back. He struck the beast's right hind leg with full force, the Big Ball Rasengan exploding against its massive body and knocking it back. Ren, who had been waiting patiently and suppressing his presence, saw the perfect opening. As the beast reeled back from Utakata's blow, Ren appeared above it, also wielding a Big Ball Rasengan. Just as he was about to land the blow on the beast's back, Ni flicked her whip, pushing the beast just enough for the Rasengan to land on its left hind leg instead. The impact was devastating. The beast, now struck with two Big Ball Rasengans with one on each hind leg it crashed to the ground with a thunderous boom. Both its legs were bleeding heavily, immobilizing the creature. It gave a final snarl before collapsing, its eyes shutting from the force of the assault. Ni looked ready to shout something, but Ren appeared in front of her again and without hesitation, punched her square in the face with the full strength of the First Gate. Her head flew back and hit the beasts head hard. She didn't get up. Ren walked over cautiously to check. Once he confirmed she was unconscious, he closed the First Gate, his breathing calm. One of the core advantages of his modified version of the Eight Gates was that he could now open and close the gate freely for 20 minutes now, without suffering the usual backlash of pain or exhaustion. He then placed a restrictive seal on Ni's unconscious body, paralyzing her and suppressing her chakra, ensuring she remained incapacitated. Ren tried pulling her out of the beast's head where her body was still partially fused but despite his efforts, she wouldn't separate without employing any drastic methods. He turned to Utakata, who was healing a slightly burnt Bear. The Earth Armor had absorbed most of the damage from Ni's storm jutsu as without it, Bear might not have survived. "Sensei, I can't separate her from the beast. What do I do?" Ren asked. Before Utakata could reply, Ni's voice echoed again, filled with anger. "YOU DAMN LEAF SHINOBI! MY LORD WILL DEFINITELY TAKE VENGEANCE FOR ME!" To their shock, Ni's upper body, which had still been visible and bound by the seal, suddenly began to sink further into the beast, despite the chakra-restricting seal. Ren dashed forward, trying to stop her but he couldn't reach in time. Ni completely merged into the beast, disappearing from view. The beast's eyes snapped open, glowing with violent energy. Even with its hind legs crippled, it began thrashing madly, unleashing beams of fire from its gaping mouth, and water-infused lightning strikes from its spikes crashing wildly in every direction. The battlefield was once again thrown into chaos. Seeing the beast trying to get up once again Utakata stopped healing bear and moved again. "Bear, trap it. Ren, end it." With that he moved again and made 3 clones of himself and all of them surrounded the beast from one direction each and all of them released the [WATER STYLE : WATER DRAGON BULLET JUTSU] simultaneously. The beast which was stuck due to its injured legs launched even more lightning and fire to block the bullets all by its beastal instinct but two of them hit it from the same side causing it flip backward and its spiky back getting stuck in the ground below. The beast tried moving and thrashing but due to its own body structure it was now stuck. Bear took this moment to release the [EARTH STYLE : GRASPING ARMS OF EARTH JUTSU]. Two massive hands rose up from the earth and grasped the beasts mouth which was releasing fire and closed it shut. He didn't need to hold its entire body down since the beast was stuck on its own and the spikes which were releasing the lightning were also underground so their threat was neutralized. Now only the neck of the beast was visible which was also the most weak part right now. Just then Ren jumped up very high in the air. He opened the first gate and started spinning but this time he raised his hands with his claws open as he released wind chakra from very few tenketsu points. Even this much was very hard for him to do due to the opened gate making it hard. It was only possible because Ren had modified the technique with seals so he was able to control a little amount of chakra. Ren was soon spinning very fast due to the base speed of the first gate and him falling down, this time he hadn't used the wind chakra for speed but for its sharpness so he wasn't looking like a tornado but more like a rotating drill. When he was finished he looked like an extremely fast rotating drill, the moment he made contact with the beast's neck blood sprayed out but Ren continued because he couldn't stop this jutsu. He continued till he passed the beast's neck completely killing it and his claws got stuck in the earth which forced him to stop. Without any control his body awkwardly fell down on the beast and his clothes got soaked with blood. He tried to get his claws out but his arms were very tired which was why he left it as it is waiting for Utakata. "Sensei.." he muttered lightly. Utakata came close to him but just as Utakata was about to help Ren the beast moved once again. {I think this fight was much better than the earlier multi people fight I tried (Team 1 vs Utakata) right??} Also, I think I did justice to the capabilities of an Elite Jonin and and an ANBU Jonin but still comment what you think.} {I will explain the fight once more later in case any of you are dissatisfied so hold on for a while.}
