"Yes. We are both Vorrakyn."Kagerou showed himself then. He was kneeling in front of Vacuse, his head bowed and one of his hands raised to show his ring. "You've brought my ring." Kagerou looked up in surprise and stood up. "You don't want to fight?" Vacuse looked around, then shrugged. "No. I don't want to. I'll trust you guys to take care of things. You've done a proper job of it anyway." Kagerou blinked and then smiled. "Well, this is the first time I'm going to see you pass a fight, Vacuse. And if it wasn't that I know you are Vorrakyn, I would be very suspicious right now!" Vacuse snorted. "Just so. We're here, Kagerou. I'm sure there'll be a lot of other fights, even those we do not want." That said, Vacuse raised his ring, and a beam that turned into his stone dragon construct blasted out, unfurling its wings and roaring into the ceiling. "Let's get out of here." They climbed atop the dragon construct, and it flew into the air, its wings stirring the air into mini anger and almost causing the fight to halt as everyone turned up to look at it. Vacuse was always impressed with the dragon construct and couldn't help but gloat inside at the fear and wariness that people always had toward it. And it always made him wonder what would happen when he could finally fly on Rith. Even he had only seen a real dragon fly on a few occasions, and those times, he'd never seen anything so majestic. They flew across the battle, but there was little anyone could do with the two fighting forces keeping each other in check. But Vacuse did ask, and Kagerou pointed out where Amros was fighting three third-circle Magus. Vacuse flew over the place, and his appearance stopped their fighting briefly. He saw his captain give him a salute, and he watched the three third-circle Magus back away from him as they kept their eyes on the dragon that kept coming lower. Vacuse grinned at them. "I said I wasn't going to fight. But I've already made Sivan prepare his attack. Poor boy, we can't just let it go to waste, right?" His voice reached everyone in his vicinity, and they only looked at him in helpless confusion. "What are you talking about, Vacuse? Who is Sivan?" Kagerou asked. Vacuse shifted and pointed at where the three Magus were backing away with a half shield covering them. "That's Sivan!" Before the three Magus could react, a creature stepped up from behind them, and its appearance caused the temperature to rise to boiling. The ground groaned, shattering and softening into red heat as it tried its best to melt. Then the creature, with four hands—two of which carried black fire spears—threw his attack. Two spears. One for each of three. The spears hit the Magus like lightning strikes—no, more than that—as they collapsed into ashes almost instantly, their forms erased with swift brutality. The last Magus turned around in horror, his hand raising in what should be an attack or defense, but Sivan was already moving when he threw that first attack, and he was already in front of the last, looming over him with his four hands ablaze with black fire. Everything that happened didn't last a minute. Three third-circle Magus dead, just like that. Captain Amros blinked in shock. Kagerou watched on in stunned silence. Everyone that witnessed it could only watch on. Three third circles, just like that? Isn't that too easy? Vacuse made a grand gesture, and his creature vanished. Of course, it wasn't an easy fight, and he only won that easily because of a combination of surprise and preparation. The Magus he fought had never faced such a magical creature before, one that came at them with full force without holding back. Sivan had prepared so much in the void, and that was the result. If it was that he only started condensing his black fire when he was summoned, then it would all have been for nothing. But Vacuse liked the way everyone looked at him—at how easy it was. He did it intentionally too, as he knew different forces in the mountains were keeping an eye on the fight. This was his own formal debut to the mountain. A Dragon is now there. "Continue the fight, Amros. Don't run after them should they try to retreat, though. I'll be waiting for you." Captain Amros saluted and then bowed low. "As you wish, my lord!" And with that, the Dragon continued, following Kagerou's direction through Vacuse. And like that, Vacuse exited the battlefield and entered Mountain City properly. With Kagerou's direction, he flew over hundreds of buildings and finally entered the territory of Bloodoak Union. They passed more buildings until they stopped at a mansion with the flag of the New Dawn flying above it. The dragon construct softly landed on the roof and wrapped its tail around the building, wings folded gently around it. "My lord, this is the personal building of the Dragon Hunters here in Bloodoak Union. Nothing can happen here, and as you can see, this place is heavily warded. It would take a lot of time to break through," Kagerou explained as they came down from the back of the dragon construct. Vacuse looked at the compound carefully. The mansion was fenced with thick walls and etched with magical words that glowed and shifted when looked at. "Impressive." Then he turned to Kagerou. "Was the one that did the warding of this place given by Bloodoak Union?" Kagerou blinked and then shook his head. "No. We searched differently and hired them separately." Vacuse sighed. "Then you have been betrayed. The ward did not stop those it was supposed to stop." "What are you talking about..." Kagerou didn't finish when he suddenly stiffened and his eyes went wide. The illusion that was covering half of the compound was instantly wiped away to show groups of Magus waiting for them silently.
