Those on the Vorrakyn's side felt their helplessness climb, and bleakness filled their hearts. Vacuse, as well as anyone seasoned enough in those kinds of things, knew what was going on. The war had already started, but right then, it was psychological warfare. If it was a standard kind of war, Vacuse would have said things to lift his own army's spirit, but he found no need. Instead, he turned his back against the two Dukes and faced the Vorrakyn's army. He clasped his hands and bowed to them. "From now, till the end of this war, I, Vacuse Vorrakyn, am now the General Commander of the Vorrakyn forces! "So says the Dragon Lord!" Everyone was deeply shocked. It appears to be the strongest formations from the respective Dukes," Drenvar said. Vacuse narrowed his eyes, but the Dukes were not done. Duke Lavi stepped forward and raised the wooden box into the air. Vacuse felt uncomfortable just seeing the wooden box, and even Rith shifted within. The Duke opened the box, and the temperature on the whole battlefield rose quickly. He dipped his hand and lifted something that left everyone shocked to their core. What he was holding was a red feather. But its mere appearance made everyone that saw it suck in sharp breaths and gasp. Because it was not an ordinary feather at all. It was a Phoenix feather. The Phoenix was just like the legendary Beast that the Dragons were. They were just as rare and powerful. And the thing was, there was no known Phoenix Pathway holder in the whole Empire. Drenvar's expression changed. "Vacuse…" But Vacuse did not reply. His eyes were narrowed. He could feel the astonishing power that was contained in the feather, and with the way the Dukes were combining their strongest formations, he knew what they were trying to do. "This will not be even close to the level of War Artifacts," Vacuse said quietly. From the distance Duke Draemir laughed. "Yes, it will not be, but it will be enough. In truth, we should not be using this, but we are Soulbearers and we are known for our tricks. "With this, we will kill the whole of the command in one go. Cut the head and deal with the body. That is what is going to happen. "Duke Lavi. Please continue." Before they could, Vacuse raised his hand into the air and his eyes glittered.
