Chapter 124: The First General’s sword

Right now the Meatheart had the function of weakening something by making versions of the said thing. The Meatheart had started out as a small core and became what it was now. Vacuse’s eyes gleamed as he thought about how he could utilize it with his Void power. "...Maybe I can use the eye to call the Dragon eyes instead of using my own..." That said, the Ashen Wrap had different abilities. First, it could conceal a person’s aura, and then it was used to search the soul to extract information. Vacuse didn’t know why the Ashen Wrap had such ability combinations, but he guessed it must be something related to assassination and such. "Everything will have its uses." Vacuse turned his attention to the Orcs still standing and staring at the edge. He looked at them with greed on his face as if they had suddenly turned into treasures he wanted to add to his collection. And that was when a skull-splitting howl filled the air and a strong aura surged forth. Something like a dark arrow blurred forward and an Elder wrapped in dark clothes looked down with an angry gaze. "Humans! I’m going to kill you!" The Elder stretched out his hand and a blinding red light blinked into existence. The light carried terrifying power, pulsing with blood-draining force. Vacuse grimaced. The power he was feeling from that attack was something he couldn’t dodge or defend against. What was more, none of the people in the diplomatic group could withstand such a thing! The Elder was looking to completely wipe Vacuse away. He backed up, his eyes flaring with anger as he looked at the Elder. "Your weak child should have learned how to fight! But do you have any more? I like the treasures you provide, Old Orc!" The Elder trembled, his cold eyes lit with anger as he drew back his hand to throw the attack. It was then that a much higher power locked on him like the clamp of a trap. His attack power was snuffed out in an instant as the First General, the most powerful Orc in the Warbine, waved his hand. "Enough!" The hall shook and trembled. Everyone turned to the First General who was looking around with irritation. "Elder, are you trying to dishonor the words of the Orcs? The premise of the fight was set and anyone who lost was simply too weak! "Weakening like that deserves no anger! Seven of them failed to kill a single human! They could not even overpower him! You, all of you, should be ashamed!" His voice rumbled like distant thunder, shaking all the Orcs to the core. The Elder struggled with himself before he ultimately bowed his head and went back to his seat, but the aura that clung to him was one of deep hatred and the promise of revenge. Vacuse released a sigh together with all the humans. They had overcome a deep crisis. What was more, the First General actually seemed like the type of Orc that took honor and such very seriously. Vacuse clasped his hands and bowed in his direction. "Thank you, First General!" The First General snorted as he looked at him. He waved his hand forward and a box appeared. The box floated over to Vacuse and it opened in front of him. The First General’s voice came to him. "Your gift!" Vacuse resisted the urge to point out that the First General promised that he would take what he personally wanted from his hidden stash. He gritted his teeth and stared at what was in front of him. "We Orcs, especially the Warbine, are known for our sword skills. But most importantly, it is the skills that were passed down by the Chief of Chiefs! "We are known for our sword formations and technique. That sword you are looking at is one personally created by me and it was made for a single use of my sword style and technique. "You can only use it once, but the more you power it, the stronger its one slash will become. Although you are human, I must accept that you are strong, and to acknowledge that, I gift you something that was personally created by me!" Everyone was shocked. The First General was giving something like that to a human? The thought of something like that made the minds of many people numb, including Vacuse himself. Not only was he shocked, he was deeply moved, and so he looked at the First General and bowed without saying anything. But deep in his heart, he was thinking, "...When I kill you, First General, I will treat it with the utmost respect..." Ragna’s smile froze from his place. His uncle had never given him something like that before. Killing intent appeared in his eyes as he looked at the sword that contained the technique. Vacuse ignored him and simply looked at the sword. The sword looked normal, with a red hilt and normal steel. But the strong pressure that was coming from it was evidence of the power that came with it. His eyes narrowed as he looked deeply at it, but he did not find anything wrong in it. Yet he did not pick it up. Instead, he said, "Rith!" The area around his shoulder darkened and a small dark Dragon appeared, looking irritated. It was the first time most of the people had ever seen a Dragon, and they sucked in sharp breaths as they watched Rith. Rith ignored them as he focused on the sword, purple eyes glowing softly. "...There does not seem to be any issue with it and I cannot find any ill intent within it. Also, it does not have a master so anyone could use it. Although, its absolute best could only be unleashed by its maker..." Vacuse still looked at it with mild suspicion and that made Rith fly closer to it. He opened his mouth and... swallowed it! His mouth enlarged dramatically and the sword was gone. "...I will study it further and start powering it up, making it more acceptable to the Void energy..." With that, Rith ignored everyone and vanished again.
