And the Old Head Maid couldn’t even get anything out of those old geezers! She was only told to prepare a dining spread with enough dining utensils and nothing about where the food was going to come from?! But she did it. For did she really have any other choice? And all they could now do was fret while waiting for the old eggs to come back with good news. It was that, or she would pass away earlier than expected. __ Thankfully, the old eggs were out there really trying their best for their pride and the economy (themselves). The result? Piles and piles of the fish they had caught yesterday. It was a jarring sight. But for some reason, this was something they should’ve all foreseen. For if the good son thought they had caught enough yesterday, well, he was obviously mistaken. What was this concept of leftovers? When even the innards were used as feed for the innocent fish who were about to be raided soon. As in today. And the Dungeon owner realized that they were really inspired by yesterday’s cooking session for today’s fishing, which looked like the culling of the river. However, the Duke was adamant that this should just be left with them as the guests shouldn’t be burdened with feeding themselves when in the Duchy. Luca hesitated because they might need to catch a lot, considering the people’s appetites, but his father looked like he was going to be hurt if they pushed for it. So, they all relented. It was just that the anxious heir didn’t want to come empty-handed. By the looks of it, it seems like the people back at the Duchy made a few preparations, and it was his first time visiting others like this. Hmm. Luca thought hard as he walked back into the kitchen. They didn’t have too much extra CP and should budget in case the Dungeon-Linked space asked for required upgrades, so all he could really do was check for other food he could prepare with the items they had on hand. And so the little penny pincher thought of something he could probably do and beelined for the mecha manufacturing hangar instead which shocked the others. "Brother? Where are you going?" Called Ollie, who shouted after the runner. "I just have to get something, brother! I’ll meet you in the kitchen!" returned Luca, who waved back at the confused people. "You heard him." "We ought to check if the kitchen is clean before he comes back." That was Xavier, the suspected and extremely likely Prince, who herded them back into the kitchen, which scared Ollie and his hair antenna into straightening. But the suspicious guy was also right: If Luca had something going on, it was best to ensure that everything was clean. And maybe he could take a video of his brother’s cooking so he can refer to it when he becomes more capable! A very novel idea that would save a few souls down the line, but for now, it would serve as a way to torture himself with good food. Or the best food, really. Which even used something very unlikely. When Luca returned, the others blinked up at him in surprise, considering what he was holding on to. The polishing sheet? "Luca, that’s a polishing sheet, right?" Asked Kyle, who was trying to make sense of this development. "Yeah. Well, it does that too. But basically, this is aluminum foil, right?" Asked Luca, who held up the roll he was lugging. And it really was, much to the penny pincher’s delight! It just came in giant rolls for mecha polishing, which became the more lucrative and popular industry after baking cakes became an almost lost art. But maybe this alone would single-handedly revive the industry. And ’this’ was Roasted Garlic. Specifically Roasted Garlic Butter Potatoes. Which was everything that sounded oh so perfect for the ears of these uncultured people. It was a check in every possible way and was the reason for the temporary potato shortage that would likely be on the horizon. For it was not only a hit for the people who had a ’sample.’ But almost started a revolution after being introduced in the Duchy. However, they ought to have clicked first before arguing as one husband started buying this aluminum foil in bulk. But this was all for when the Royal Rumble almost began, as the current issue was the Duke curtailing the good things they could show. Yes. And that was a heartbreaking realization and one that they really thought hard about. It meant not being able to declare the day a holiday and not being able to broadcast the momentous occasion. But the heir was confused the entire time they were lamenting about this. And even as his father rubbed his head in a bid to console him with a promise, Luca could only blink up at him. "Don’t worry, son. One day, we will be able to tell the entire Empire about your greatness!" Promised the determined Duke, whose eyes blazed with passion. However, Luca’s concern was actually just wondering why it would be hard to talk to the people of their House? But that was because the first timer had miscalculated. And gravely so. It was no small manor with a giant lawn. Well, the main house was—for reasons. But the actual Duchy? The Dukedom of Kyros comprised planets under the House’s banner. And he was only out there visiting a fingernail of it. Or maybe a speck? For his destination was only Planet Kyros. The capital planet for the Dukedom, which ruled the Kyroan Galaxy as per Imperial Assignment. But see, if galaxies house around 100 to 400 billion planets, and galaxy groups house about 50 or so galaxies, then what does that say about the Super Clusters? Trillions. Or even quadrillions. And this Hyperion Super Cluster was the capital Cluster for the Empire of Solaris—and practically the only surviving supercluster in the Astral Line Galaxy Filament. So, just who was Xavier Aeric Theron Solaris? And just what did it mean to be married to the Imperial Crown Prince of the Empire? Or was it better not to ask? Maybe ignorance was bliss.
