But honestly, Xavier and Kyle could understand, as they were also rather surprised at today’s auction’s turnout. While it generated a lot of funds for the little money grubber, it was definitely a reflection of the scarcity of spiritual relics. It came to a point where several nobles decided to pool their funds to afford the banana chips. This was an understandable move, as most of these prominent names were considered frontline heroes and not businessmen. So, while many had the status and prominence, that didn’t exactly equate to more generational wealth. The items sold were so rare that he predicted he’d turn into dust before the next one was held. But at the same time, if they just held onto it, then they might get mugged by some Star Pirate!
