"I wasn’t sure what you’d prefer, Madam," Johnson said, "so I prepared a bit of everything I thought you might enjoy." Anne blinked, still taking in the elegant spread before her. Her thoughts were scattered, awed by the quiet luxury surrounding her. "Oh... I’m not very picky," she mumbled, still adjusting to the reality of Augustine’s world. "Please, make yourself comfortable," Johnson said, gesturing courteously to the table. Anne nodded, settling into a plush chair.
