In a flash, pitch-black patterns showed up on the floor. The teleport magic circle buried in the floor started firing up. Flesh chunks and blood got sucked into the magic circle non-stop. The circle’s black light got thicker and thicker... Just as the charging was about to finish, it suddenly stopped cold! "What the hell?" The psionics’ flesh and blood had been completely eaten up! "How could it not be enough?" Salimo’s smile froze solid. "This doesn’t make sense." He’d made the sacrifice exactly like the Black Sinners’ ritual called for. In front of him were still the same old hall, same old magic ritual, same old smell of blood... Salimo’s face instantly turned ugly as hell: "Boom!" Psionic energy poured full blast into the staff again: "Teleport!" ... "Teleport!!" ... "Teleport, damn it!!!" ... Every time he pumped in psionic energy, the magic ritual’s black light got brighter, but bright as it was, there wasn’t even a hint of teleportation. "Boom!" The staff couldn’t take the constant psionic abuse anymore and shattered. Salimo stared blankly at what was left of the wooden handle, letting out a furious roar: "Luckybe! You piece of ***!!!" His voice came out through clenched teeth! By now, how could he not get it—the teleportation black circle those Black Sinners gave him was total garbage! Those damn Black Sinners never meant to play fair!!! His best escape plan had gone to hell. Outside, red light filled the sky in dead silence. Salimo crushed the wooden handle to dust, took a deep breath, and tried to cool his rage. "Still got a shot, still got a shot!" He pulled out an alchemical mask and slapped it on his face...
