Taking a deep, theatrical breath, she closed her eyes with exaggerated solemnity, her dark lashes casting shadows on her cheeks. She placed both hands on the crystal ball with careful precision, her palms hovering just above its surface as if drawing energy from within. The crystal seemed to pulse with a faint, ethereal glow—or maybe that was just wishful thinking on her part. Straightening her shoulders and tilting her head back slightly, she began her chant in a voice deeper and more mysterious than her usual tone, each word carefully enunciated as if she were invoking ancient powers... "Noble fate, I call upon your wisdom..." After what felt like forever, Becky opened her eyes. Her gaze seemed to pierce through everything, her voice all mystical: "Diliya, under fate’s watchful eye, you ran into trouble but managed to turn it around." Becky was confident—this was her tried-and-true divination ’method’! Diliya waited a beat, then said in disbelief: "Um... that’s it?" "Wasn’t my reading spot-on?" Becky blinked innocently. "But you said the exact same thing last time!" Diliya couldn’t help reaching out to pinch her friend’s cheeks: "Can’t you jazz up your fortune telling a little! Diliya was about to release her when she planned to fill her friend in on her terrible journey. Suddenly, she saw Becky’s pupils undergo a weird transformation!
