Not long after, Thomas Shannon, his shirt soaked with wine, changed his clothes and returned to the private room."Young Master..." Raina Bell’s eyes were glistening as she looked at him, pleading for help.
Thomas Shannon’s gaze landed on the mobile phone on the tea table. Bending over, he picked it up, his cold eyes flicking to Raina Bell. "Don’t forget your duty," he said.
Raina Bell’s heart plunged as if into an ice cellar.
Don’t forget your duty...

That’s right, a female slave...
Complete the mission at all costs.
Cruz laughed heartily, then jeered, "Young Master Shannon, this little female slave of yours is truly disappointing. She’s not up to your usual standards."
"It’s her first time serving someone; it’s natural for her to be nervous." Thomas Shannon glanced at his wristwatch. An indifferent smile touched his thin lips. "It’s getting late. I hope you have fun."
"Hahaha... I enjoy working with someone as straightforward as Young Master Shannon." Cruz raised his wine glass. "Here’s to you."
Thomas Shannon’s lips hooked into a slight smile. He nodded and then turned to leave.
Raina Bell’s gaze remained fixed on his tall, cold silhouette as it slowly receded.
Her heart, too, was gradually freezing over.
They left the club and returned to their guest hotel.
Thomas Shannon casually tossed his mobile phone onto the tea table and then turned to enter the bath chamber.
When Thomas Shannon emerged from his bath, Charlie River had already ordered their meal.
The waiter pushed the food trolley, arranged the midnight snack dishes on the tabletop, then bowed and excused himself.
After the bath, the alcohol smell on his body had faded slightly.
Sitting down at the dining table, Thomas Shannon took a sip of purified water before picking up his knife and fork, eating at a leisurely pace.
"How’s the maniac?" Thomas Shannon asked casually as he ate.
Charlie River knew he would ask. "The maniac went to the medical office looking for George Stanford but didn’t find him. She seemed quite angry. Afterward, she locked herself in her bedroom and hasn’t come out since."
Locked herself in her bedroom?
Thomas Shannon chuckled softly and said nothing more.
After their midnight snack, Charlie River thoughtfully reviewed the next day’s itinerary with Thomas Shannon before bidding him good night and leaving the suite.
「The next day.」
Before reporting to Thomas Shannon, Raina Bell made a phone call to Minimus Hart.
"Sister Minnie, I have something to tell you."
Minimus Hart had been about to ask how things were going between Raina Bell and Thomas Shannon, but Raina Bell’s grave tone cut her off. Minimus Hart paused. "What is it?"
"Last night, I answered Young Master’s call without permission..." Raina Bell bit her lower lip. Tormented by Cruz, that brutal man, all night, her face was still pale.
Thinking of that name, she took a deep breath and continued, "Sister Minnie, the maniac’s real name is Sophie Sullivan. I saw the note on Young Master’s phone..."
"How do you know Sophie Sullivan is the maniac?"
"The call was from the maniac. Young Master’s note said Sophie Sullivan."
Minimus Hart’s eyes darkened slightly. "I understand. You’ll get credit for this."
"Thank you, Sister Minnie."
"You don’t sound well. Are you feeling alright?" Minimus Hart asked, showing a hint of concern.
Raina Bell closed her eyes, tears streaming down her face. Swallowing the bitterness in her throat, she choked out, "I’m fine."
Minimus Hart, however, had only asked casually and didn’t dwell on it. "Just focus on serving the Young Master well," she said. "Notify me immediately if anything else comes up."
「For three days in a row.」
George Stanford was not in the medical office. Sophie Sullivan came to look for him every day, but each time she left disappointed.
Sophie Sullivan had already concluded that Thomas Shannon must have been behind it. Did he really think he could control her just by making George Stanford disappear?
