"Where are you planning to stay?"Thomas Shannon insisted on hearing it from her.
George Stanford had originally planned to be a civilized onlooker and watch the drama unfold.
Seeing Young Master Shannon using force and being menacing, George Stanford couldn’t help but cough lightly. He was trying to make his presence known and reminded him, "Young Master Shannon, be careful with Fiona’s face... Her face can’t be touched..."
Sophie Sullivan glanced at George Stanford, acknowledging he still had some sense of loyalty for not abandoning her in her time of need.
Thomas Shannon, hearing this, slightly loosened his grip, but his cold eyes still swirled with a storm. "Come with me."
He grabbed Sophie Sullivan’s wrist and dragged her out.
Sophie Sullivan looked towards George Stanford and mouthed, "Old Mr. Stanford, save me quickly!"
George Stanford turned his head, pretending not to see anything.
What a joke. The two of them are clearly just having a little quarrel. What’s the point of me, a doctor, meddling in this?
Sophie Sullivan: "..."
He’s not saving me! Old Mr. Stanford, you’re done for!
Dragged all the way out of George Stanford’s office, Thomas Shannon wanted to take her from the medical office. Sophie Sullivan stopped in her tracks, grabbing the handle of a door with all her might, refusing to go with him no matter what.
"Thomas Shannon, let go!"
Thomas Shannon stopped and turned back to look at her. She stubbornly pursed her lips, her eyes filled with coldness, determination, and resolve.
No compromise.
No backing down.
From her eyes, he saw her conviction.
Immediately, he couldn’t help but chuckle, his tall body gradually approaching her.
The man’s towering figure, gradually closing in, brought an oppressive feeling that was not to be underestimated.
People with weak hearts would likely be intimidated by his imposing stature. Newest update provıded by novel·fıre·net
Sophie Sullivan believed her heart was strong enough, so she merely pursed her lips, and that was all.
He hooked a corner of his mouth into a faint smile. His voice was deep and low, carrying its unique magnetic quality, like a lover’s whisper. "Maniac, have I spoiled you too much?"
Sophie Sullivan fearlessly stared back at him. "You’re the one who spoiled me. You reap what you sow."
The man stared at her unblinkingly, his voice low. "Are you trying to seduce me, hmm?"
Sophie Sullivan was so angered by his words she laughed. "Don’t be so shameless! You’re not worth me doing that for you!"
"Fine. Then tell me, who is the person worth you doing this for now?"
Sophie Sullivan shot him a disdainful look. "Why should I tell you?"
"Because I want to know."
He’s really gotten used to being overbearing! Just because he wants to know, does everyone else have to tell him every single detail obediently? Sorry, no way!
Sophie Sullivan arrogantly turned her face away, not looking at him. Thomas Shannon sighed silently and turned her stubborn head back. "Hungry? Shall we go back for breakfast?"
"Go back where?"
"You tell me where to go back."
"I want to go back to my room to rest. It will help the wounds on my face heal. Young Master Shannon, please do as you wish. I won’t see you out."
Sophie Sullivan struggled free from his restraint and was about to leave.
Would Thomas Shannon let her go so easily?
