Chapter 158: CH 158: You’re not going in!The morning sun cast a warm glow over the landscape as Dave emerged from his quarters, stretching his arms and yawning. The events of yesterday had ended with Dave fucking the hell out of his two wives. And the said wives, although a little tired, were already up and about, their faces set with determination. Today was going to be a very long day, and they had decided to set out early to make the most of it. Their first stop was at the merger faction’s base, where Dave would be forging a crucial alliance involving the beast tamers that were coming with him. After all, according to the information revealed yesterday, everyone whose power has to do with beasts are all meant to be under one faction. And besides, who could refuse his plan to combine the beasts tamers with the mergers? After visiting the merger faction, Dave and his two wives alone would head to the meeting point with the rest of the executives. They would be delivering the stuffs they managed to obtain during the expedition, and Dave would also say his goodbyes to the rest of the group. He was sure that by now, many people from the casino base would have already been trying to make their way out of the base. Peter had assembled the team of people that will be accompanying Dave on this journey, and they were all waiting outside the giant building, their faces set with anticipation. As they prepared to depart, since the group consists of beasts tamers, Dave had instructed everyone to tame a beast so they could ride on it during the journey. The creatures were majestic, their hard scales glinting in the morning light as they consist mainly of intermediate beasts. Sun, however, was having trouble controlling her beast, and Dave quickly intervened, lifting her onto one of his tamed beasts. "Ride on this, you’ll be fine," he said, smiling reassuringly. Ella, on the other hand, doesn’t have any power to tame beasts. During their intercourse yesterday, Dave discovered that she has no mark, and he had even informed her about. She was a little disappointed and sad, but Dave consoled her, telling her that it wasn’t the end. She could still have any of the two other powers. And besides, she has him. He promised to protect her to the best of his abilities. As they set out, Dave’s mind was already racing ahead, anticipating the challenges and opportunities that lay before them. The group moved swiftly, their beasts’ paws pounding the earth in unison. Peter rode alongside Dave, his eyes scanning the horizon for any signs of danger. The air was filled with the sound of rustling leaves and the distant calls of unknown beast, a symphony of sounds that accompanied them on their journey. As they prepared to depart, Sun’s eyes had clouded with worry, her gaze drifting to her neck. Dave noticed her concern and reached out, his hand gently brushing against her arm. "Hey, don’t worry about it," he said softly. "You might have one of the other two marks. And even if you don’t, I’ll be here to protect you, no matter what." His words seemed to ease her concerns, and a small smile played on her lips. With a gentle gesture, Dave lifted her onto the same beast that Sun was riding on, and the group began to move. As they set out, the sun cast its warm rays upon them, illuminating the path ahead. The beasts’ paws pounded the earth in unison, their rhythmic beat echoing through the landscape. To shorten their journey, Dave gave a subtle signal, and the beasts picked up speed. The wind whipped through their hair, and the group’s laughter and shouts mingled with the sound of pounding hooves. Within an hour or so, the landscape shifted, and the merger faction’s base came into view. Meanwhile, one of the faction members, perched high in a tree, had been watching the group’s approach from afar. His eyes narrowed as he took in the group’s numbers and their mounts. With a swift movement, he leapt from the tree, his footsteps quiet on the forest floor. He made his way to Jackie, his face set with a serious expression. "I’ve spotted Dave and his group approaching," he reported, his voice low and urgent. Jackie listened intently, his eyes flicking towards the direction of the approaching group. The guard’s role was to watch and report, and he had done his job well. Now, it was up to Jackie to decide how to proceed. As Dave and his group approached the border, the guards stationed outside eyed them warily. The strangers’ unfamiliar faces and unusual mounts sparked a mixture of curiosity and suspicion. The guards’ hands rested on the hilts of their swords, their eyes narrowing as they took in the group’s fortified appearance. The guards’ uncertainty quickly gave way to hostility as Dave and his group drew closer. With a deep breath, one of the guards stepped forward, his voice firm. "This is the border of the merger faction," he declared. "State why you are here." Dave urged his beast forward, its paws padding softly on the ground. The guards’ eyes widened as Dave approached, their faces twisted in alarm. "Stay back, you’re not allowed in here!" one of them shouted, their hand on the hilt of their sword. Before Dave could respond, the guards’ bodies began to shift and contort, their limbs elongating as they transformed into their beast forms. The group with Dave reacted swiftly, leaping off their mounts as they prepared to defend themselves. The air was filled with the sound of rustling clothes and the soft thud of feet hitting the ground. The guards, now fully transformed, let out a chorus of snarls and growls, their eyes fixed on Dave’s group with a fierce intensity. The scene erupted into chaos as the two groups clashed, their movements swift and deadly. The sound of snarling beasts and shouting men filled the air, the atmosphere charged with tension and anticipation. Dave stood tall, his eyes scanning the scene as he prepared to take action.
