Chapter 202: Chapter 202: Nicki’s Final Gambit ~Evric’s POV~ He stood there, unhurried, taking in my disheveled state, sweating, with an undone tie, and a desperate look in my eyes. He sauntered toward the desk, savoring every moment of my incapacitation. "Hi, sweetheart," he purred. I looked up, breathing heavily, the haze of the drug making my vision swim. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. My voice was a dry croak as I fought for coherence. "Did you... drug me?" Nicki leaned against the edge of my desk, close enough for me to smell his clean cologne over the metallic scent of my own sweat. He dropped his voice to an intimate whisper, his eyes dark with satisfaction. "Of course, I did. I wouldn’t want you fighting me, Evric. Not when I know exactly what your body is screaming for right now." He ran the tip of his finger lightly along the line of my jaw, a touch that ignited fire across my skin. "Just beg me, Evric. Tell me you want to fuck me." My mind was still clinging desperately to logic. I snatched my phone from the desk and frantically dialed Zayn’s number. It rang once. Twice. Then, the call went straight to voicemail. Nicki watched the futile attempt, a slow, predatory grin spreading across his face. "Don’t bother too," he gloated. "Your dear boyfriend won’t pick up your call. He already told us how frustrating you are, how you’ve been controlling him. He probably hates you now, or he’s thinking of ending the relationship, isn’t he? Don’t bother calling him. He won’t pick up." He pushed himself off the desk and began to circle me slowly, his voice weaving a seductive spell. "Your boyfriend doesn’t need you anymore, sweetheart. But I do. Your body needs me. Look at you." He gestured down my perspiring body. "You have the drug in your system now. A high urge for sex. No way Zayn could handle this. He’s too sweet, too quick. You need someone who can truly satiate this, someone who knows exactly how to make you lose control." He moved closer, his breath warm against my ear. "Stop fighting, Evric. You’re hot. You’re desperate. You want me to take this heat away, don’t you? Let me finish what the drug started. Let me make you come so hard you forget your own name." He gently unbuttoned the top button of my shirt, his knuckles brushing my burning skin. "You’re so powerful, Evric, but right now, you are completely mine. Just give in. You’re dying to, aren’t you?" The seduction was working, not because I wanted Nicki, but because the chemical urge was overriding every instinct. I was panting, my vision swimming between the hate I felt for him and the overwhelming need for release. I fought to shove him away, but my muscles failed, only managing a weak, shuddering movement. He leaned back down, resting his weight on my desk. "And in case you didn’t know, he’s not coming home tonight. He said he’ll be passing the night at Nantam’s house." A cold dread seeped through the drug-induced heat. Zayn hadn’t told me that. You are lying, Nicki. "Just beg me, Evric," Nicki purred, spreading his arms wide. "I’m very much available for you." The reality of the situation, Zayn was gone, I was drugged, and this predator was here to ruin me, overwhelmed the chemical urges for a moment. Tears sprang to my eyes, hot and stinging, sliding down my sweat-streaked cheeks. I knew if I yielded to Nicki, it would be the final, destructive act that would shatter my relationship with Zayn forever. "Get away from me," I choked out, trying to shove his hand away from my shoulder. My strength was useless; the movement was pitiful. Nicki just laughed, his eyes glittering with triumph. "Don’t fight it, Evric. Don’t waste this. Look at what you’re doing to yourself." He dropped his gaze, his hand snaking down with predatory speed. He reached for me, his fingers closing around my erection, which was painfully hard, a desperate consequence of the drug coursing through my veins. "See, sweetheart?" He only smiled, knowing that my ability to execute that threat was currently drowning in chemicals. "Just fuck me," Nicki whispered, pushing himself off the desk and advancing slowly toward me. "It’s what we both want." He reached out, his fingers fumbling with the buttons of my shirt. "If you won’t beg to take me, don’t worry. I will take you myself." "Don’t touch me!" I screamed, the sound tearing from my throat. It was my last coherent gasp of defiance. "Stay far away from me, please!" Tears streamed down my face, mixing with the sweat. I never thought I would beg Nicki for anything, yet the words poured out, raw and desperate. "Please, don’t destroy my relationship with Zayn. I really love him. I can’t bear to be apart from him, my life without him will be meaningless!" Nicki stared at my broken state, his face twisted in disbelief and rage. "What is so special about him?!" he shouted, slamming his hand down on the desk. I could only look into his eyes, tears blurring my vision, and repeat the devastating truth. "I can’t leave without him, please." Nicki stared at me—at the tears, the heavy sweating, the visible, agonizing urge for sex that I was still managing to refuse. He ran a frustrated hand through his hair. "Damn you, Evric," he hissed, his voice laced with defeat and continued malice. "But I don’t care." He lunged forward, grasping the waistband of my trousers, ready to pull them down. Just as he did, the heavy office door clicked, and a voice called out from the hallway. "Hey, Evric! I forgot my phone in your office!" It was Karl. The sound of his voice froze Nicki instantly. The door swung open, and Karl entered, taking in the scene: me, disheveled and sobbing; Nicki, standing over me with his hands on my clothes. Karl’s expression hardened instantly as he recognized the intruder. "You again?!" Before Karl could move, Nicki reacted with the speed of a cornered predator. He shoved past the desk chair and sprinted toward the side door. Within seconds, he was gone, leaving the door swinging shut behind him. I collapsed into my seat, sobbing uncontrollably. Karl rushed over to me, confusion and concern warring on his face. "Have you reached Zayn?" he asked. I couldn’t speak. All I could do was cry, the overwhelming relief and terror shaking my entire body.
