I stared at the blank screen for a moment, a smile tugging at my lips. I was glad he agreed. The truth is, the best thing for our relationship might be this, learning how to calm each other down instead of letting arguments turn into fights. Evric is a sweet man, but he gets jealous so easily, and that jealousy often sparks his anger. I’m only just learning how to be a good partner to him: to steady his temper, to ease his worries, to love him through it all.
