Chapter 122: Chapter 122: Every Drop Belongs to Him ~Zayn’s POV~ After the call ended, a thought slipped into my mind. It was only on the first day Evric arrived in Dubai that he reached out for intimacy. Since then... nothing. I knew he was busy, exhausted from work, but still... it felt strange. Evric was never the type to go more than two days without needing me; and now it had already been five days. I tried not to let the thought weigh on me. Maybe it’s the time difference. Perhaps he’s just too tired. Maybe I’m overthinking. After all, it wasn’t always supposed to be him who initiated things. I was allowed to tell him I needed him too. With that reminder, I pushed the thought aside, straightened my shoulders, and carried on with work for the rest of the day. As the day finally ended, I drove home to an empty apartment. I found myself chuckling alone in the quiet room, my heart softening with every memory. But then, my thumb paused. I’d stumbled into another folder... Of course, he said he’d keep texting me throughout the day. I smiled again and typed back, "Okay, Daddy." With that settled, I stood, stretched, and headed for the shower. Today, I wasn’t going to the restaurant. Nantam’s house awaited, and I wanted to make a proper housewarming gesture. After showering and dressing, I grabbed my car keys and drove to the store to pick up a few things to take along. I carefully selected each item, thinking about what would feel thoughtful for a new home. When I got to the counter, I was ready to pay but the cashier stopped me. "Someone already paid for everything you bought," she said. I blinked, momentarily confused. "Who...?" I asked, glancing around. "They just left a card," the cashier replied. At the very least, I wanted to thank he/she properly. I followed the man to the car, and when I got there, I froze. The man waiting was Evans Lucas. I had seen him on TV before, he was a big actor, famous for movies and shows I’d never really followed closely, but recognizing him in person made my stomach twist with surprise. I wasn’t someone who kept up with celebrities, but owning a restaurant meant I had seen a lot of famous faces, either on TV or when they visited. And now, here he was, waiting for me. For a moment, I just stood there, unsure what to say. Why would Evans Lucas want to see me?
