Chapter 6: Family Scores "Miss Camilla?" Augustin and Victoria's expressions stiffened simultaneously. Why would this impertinent girl wake up at this moment?! Camilla was dressed in a loose white long dress, her seaweed-like chestnut long curls lazily scattered behind her. Her bright eyes are as white as teeth, skin as fair as snow. Her delicate face did not hold a trace of blood, yet somehow, it added a touch of frail and shattered appeal. She was beautiful, breathtakingly so. Jealousy flashed through Clara's eyes. Camilla's face, each time she looked at it, it filled her with discontent. "Young Lady--" Carlos stood up from the sofa, his face bearing undisguised respect. The Young Lady's beauty, is even more outstanding than in the photos. The old man will certainly be very pleased. But as for the Young Master... well, let's take it slow. Seeing this, Augustin and his group could only uncomfortably stand up to greet Camilla. Camilla looked at Carlos, a subtle smile on her face. "Mr. Carlos, please have a seat." Usually, a hint of gentleness from her would make this wretched girl act as if she'd received a great honor. Did she take the wrong medicine today?! A shade of displeasure flashed through Clara's eyes. Concerned that his wife and daughter might say something inappropriate in front of the Luther Family, Augustin subtly signaled them with a glance. Uncle Carlos had been in the Luther Family for several decades, his ability to read people and situations had reached the highest level. Victoria nodded in agreement, her chubby face beaming with a smile once again. "Your uncle is right, accept them." Fortunately, a family like the Luther Family certainly wouldn't mind." Uncle Carlos didn't speak, but the look in his eyes seemed somewhat indifferent as he looked at Augustin. "I understand, uncle. That's why I do not want you to prepare anything," Camilla nodded her understanding, seemingly aged beyond her years. She glanced sideways at Augustin with a faint smile playing about her lips. "What do you say, uncle?" A courtyard and a hospital? Augustin and his wife's faces turned pale. While Camilla had been unconscious, they had already sold these two properties, using all the money to fill the coffers of the Sanchez Corporation. How could they produce these elements for Camilla's dowry now?! Clara glared at Camilla, her expression visibly darkening at a rapid pace. Damn brat!! "Since these are left to Miss Camilla by the old master, the Sanchez family naturally has no reason to disagree," Uncle Carlos seemed to have perceived something, his gaze fell on Augustin undisturbed.
