Grandpa Luther nodded in agreement. Uncle Carlos soon returned with the pulse pillow. "He coughs incessantly at night, complains of body aches, and suffers from persistent dizziness." He hesitated before adding, "But strangely, these symptoms improve significantly by midday—unless he loses his temper." A weighted silence followed. "Ms Camilla," he finally continued, "are you absolutely certain grandpa’s pulse shows no irregularities?" His tone carried no accusation, only deep unease at the abnormality. "I’m certain his pulse is normal," Camilla said, her delicate brows knitting together. "But given these symptoms, that shouldn’t be the case." Her clear voice turned icy.
