Chapter 10: Meeting her husband Sinclair!! Camilla's heart felt as if it had been suddenly squeezed, her hand hanging by her side instantly tightened. She was about to see that man who loved her to his bones, and was willing to die for her love. The calm expression on Camilla's face was totally replaced by nervousness, and a thin layer of sweat even appeared on her pretty nose. Grandpa Luther noticed Camilla's abnormality and sighed inwardly. Some rumors would naturally fall apart when this young miss Rodriguez saw Sinclair. It was apparent that Sandra also noticed Camilla, a trace of coldness flashing in her eyes. "Miss Rodriguez, are you afraid of Sinclair?" She turned her head, gazing at Sandra, whose eyes were curved without a trace of humor in their depths. "You wouldn't understand the excitement of meeting your husband, Miss Porter, being a single person as you are." Grandpa Luther sipped his tea indifferently, still managing to flash a hint of a smile in his lowered eyes. Sandra saw the mockery in Camilla's eyes and furrowed her brows, about to say something. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a tall and straight figure walk in, immediately diverting her attention. Camilla's gaze also settled on the man who had just entered. Sinclair was dressed in a black handmade high-end suit. His features were handsome and clear-cut, displaying an entirely cold and repressed face. As he approached, a strong and commanding pressure emanated from him. Camilla saw the familiar features, her heart aching. Her beautiful eyes couldn't help but well up with a layer of tears. Did she start crying? Is that the excitement she was talking about just now? Sinclair stopped in his tracks, a chilly amusement passing in the depths of his ink-colored eyes. "Grandpa." Grandpa Luther chuckled and nodded in greeting. "Have a seat." Grandpa Luther sat on the main sofa facing the south. Camilla sat on the left, while Sandra sat on the right. For Sinclair to sit down, he had to choose a side. Sandra took a sip of her tea, a secret gleam of triumph in her lowered eyes. Given Sinclair's personality, he certainly wouldn't choose Camilla, his future wife suddenly arranged by the family. When Sinclair sat down next to her, the look on that woman's face would definitely be interesting. However, just when Sandra thought she had the situation all figured out, Sinclair strode over and sat down next to Camilla. The chuckle in Grandpa Luther's eyes deepened. His eldest grandson's lack of resistance this time had satisfied him. Seeing Sinclair sitting next to her, Camilla immediately reacted, clumsily wiping her tears. Yet, Sandra stiffened, her face visibly darkening. As expected, he always knew how to reject her. But what of it? She would never give up. "Sinclair," Sandra took the initiative to speak, smiling sweetly and naturally at Sinclair. "About the collaboration on the S-city project that we talked about last night, have you given it some thought?" She wanted Camilla to know that her relationship with Sinclair was intimate. They were people of the same world. Although Sandra's tone was normal, Camilla, with a woman's intuition, still sensed that her emphasis was on the first part of her sentence. She pulled up the corner of her mouth, a trace of unmistakable sneer flashed in her eyes. "We should discuss work matters at the office." Sinclair looked at Sandra, his voice indifferent and devoid of any emotion. In front of Camilla, was Sinclair completely disregarding her pride?! Sandra bit her lip, her face visibly awkward. Camilla's expression did not change, quietly observing the Sinclair beside her. Everyone fell silent and the atmosphere instantly became rigid. "Alright, it's about time," At this perfect timing, old man Luther spoke. "Carlos, serve the meal please." Camilla glanced at Sinclair, taking the lead to follow Father Luther to the dining room. During the few days she was unconscious, she had not consumed anything besides water. Having heard the topic of food, she then realized how hungry she was. As for Sinclair... there is plenty of time in the future. The living room was left with only Sinclair and Sandra in an instant. "Sinclair, you..." Just as she began to speak, the man abruptly stood up and left. Sandra tightly clutched her skirt, her beautiful face alternately flushing and pale. She wanted to leave, but thinking that she didn't know when she would be able to see Sinclair next, she swallowed her discomfort and followed. She had loved Sinclair for ten years.
