You’re the sister who grew up with us.” Lucas Jennings nodded in agreement, “Right, she’s just relying on her recent return, and even grandpa likes her.” Even so, they didn’t dare to openly mock her anymore, only murmured quietly. Azura Loomis’s eyes flickered, and she softly inquired about their meeting with Scarlett Garrison. In her view, Scarlett Garrison’s temper wasn’t something that could be easily appeased with a few words to return home. She had expected Scarlett Garrison to stubbornly refuse to return home today, causing the Jennings Family to lose face, blaming it on Scarlett’s issue. Too bad. She just came back like that. Emma White, seeing her husband poised for a big endeavor, felt slightly uneasy. She pulled her daughter aside, whispering, “Isolde, should we first update your father? If by chance we discover later that the Jennings Family’s eldest daughter is truly... your father will be unprepared.” Previously, when the Jennings Family canceled their cooperation with the Garrison Family, Isolde and Emma White worried Timothy would blame them, so they kept the fact that Scarlett might be the lost daughter of the Jennings Family from him. Timothy Garrison was attending tonight solely to seize the chance to reconnect with the Jennings Family. Thus, the Patterson Family had always attempted to find a local wealthy family for Lydia Patterson to form an alliance through marriage. Lydia Patterson initially selected Scarlett Garrison since Scarlett liked him and he also had quite a favorable impression of her.
