"Thank you for the opportunity, Mister Fujiwara. And thank you again for the exclusive dinner event invitation." Fujiwara, sharp-eyed and composed in his tailored charcoal suit, smiled faintly. "Don’t mention it." He leaned back in his chair, fingers steepled, his voice low and deliberate. "Just remember the deal you promised." Satoshi straightened, his expression firm. "Of course. Don’t worry, Mister Fujiwara. I’ll make sure I attend the event... with her." Fujiwara’s lips curved into something colder than a smile. "Good." He glanced at the portfolio on the table. "Then consider our contract... finalized, once I get what I want." Satoshi bowed once more. "You will." But as he turned to leave, his thoughts were already spinning—calculating, scheming. Everything was riding on that night. And she was his most valuable piece. Outside the Fujiwara Corporation building. The sleek black car was waiting at the curb. Satomi stood by the door, her posture elegant, eyes scanning calmly as her father approached. "So, Papa?" she asked softly, without looking at him. "How did it go?" Satoshi exhaled lightly. "I’ll need your help later, Satomi." Satomi looked at the papers. Didn’t flinch. Didn’t gasp. She simply read. Then closed the folder. "I see." A pause. Then her eyes flicked back to him. "And what exactly... do you need me to do?" Satoshi leaned back, his fingers tapping lightly on the folder in Satomi’s lap. "Knowing your mother... she’ll refuse to attend an event like this." Satomi nodded. "Yes. I know. She always says she feels uncomfortable around too many people." Satoshi’s voice dropped slightly. "You need to persuade her to go." Satomi smiled faintly. A practiced, elegant smile. Deceptively sweet. "Don’t worry, Papa~" she said softly, brushing a lock of hair behind her ear. "Leave it to me." "And when this deal is secured..." Satoshi’s voice was low with quiet satisfaction. "Our company will rise above the rest." Satomi leaned over slowly. Her hand slid onto his arm—lightly, deliberately. She smiled, eyes glowing with ambition. "Mm... soon we’ll be richer, Papa~" Her voice was soft, playful, almost seductive. Satomi leaned closer. Satoshi’s eyes didn’t blink. "I know." Their lips met. His hand slid gently up the back of her neck, cradling her. Her free hand moved to his chest, fingers resting lightly... the glint of her wedding ring faint in the dim light. Their kiss deepened. Mouths parted just slightly. Breath shared. Familiarity. Intimacy. Control. When they finally pulled apart, she smiled—softly. Almost lovingly. "Soon," she said, brushing invisible lint from his shoulder. "We’ll have it all." Satoshi reached up, tucking a lock of her hair behind her ear, his thumb grazing the corner of her lips. "We already do." Satomi broke it with a whisper. "Papa..." Satoshi glanced at her, half distracted. "Hmm?" She hesitated. "So I should get an abortion?" Satoshi turned to her fully now. His eyes sharpened. "Are you sure you’re pregnant?" "I didn’t think it would happen," Satomi said, brushing her hair behind her ear. "We’ll get you a good doctor." Satoshi’s voice was low, tight. Satomi smiled faintly. "Thank you, Papa~" "I don’t want to be tied down by his child." "We should take care of it early," Satoshi said, his tone flat. "Yes, Papa," Satomi replied, her voice calm, almost emotionless.
