It also seemed a bit underwhelming compared to the conjured steel golem. Nonetheless, the crowd cheered in excitement as the titan advanced, taking the majority of the void rays like they were nothing. The audience’s thunderous roars of passion only grew louder as the sphere made its way over, though most expected that the steel golem would be able to take the projectile. It probably would take a few of those dark-purple spheres shooting simultaneously to take down the titan. But to their bewilderment... The sphere merely crackled as the golem grabbed it like a ball, its momentum seemingly halted—until, suddenly, the steel golem’s hands began to disintegrate into mana particles, ground to destruction from mere contact. The void projectile also wouldn’t let go, inching closer and closer to the titan, especially after breaking free from the golem’s now-destroyed hands. ’Damn it...’ Pierro cursed inwardly, controlling the steel golem to shift its body aside and make way for the sphere. Clashing with it head-on had turned out to be a bad decision. Unfortunately, that realization came a bit too late. The sphere landed cleanly in the steel golem’s chest and, under the shocked gazes of the crowd, reduced the massive conjured creature to mere mana particles, utterly destroying it. Naturally, the sight sent the crowd into a frenzy, their arms flailing and fists waving in the air with excitement. The steel golem had lost! Pierro couldn’t conjure another due to mana limitations, so he desperately scrambled to create as many alloy puppets as he could instead. Alas, none of them were capable enough to contend with the huge eye’s sphere projectiles. They couldn’t even advance, pinned down by the void rays from the smaller eyes, and were forced to remain near their caster to protect him. Just like that, the balance collapsed. Pierro’s puppet army was quickly routed, and although the Magna Prospect desperately summoned more, he realized it would be for nothing. Ask anyone in the top sixteen and count how many f*cks they give about it. I bet you wouldn’t even need both hands. Here’s a tip: stop talking like an eight-year-old kid. Maybe then people will take you seriously. Or better yet, grow a brain." The entire arena fell silent for a moment at Hal’s words.
