Chapter 322: Chapter 322: Writing Advertisements
"So, if you take this bun home, you will never have another meat bun to eat. Now, do you still want to take it home?"
Yang Dongxue blinked, "Will I not be able to eat buns anymore?"
"Yes, as long as you stuff the bun into your pouch and take it home, you will never be able to eat meat buns again, and you can only watch as others eat, watch as your Sister Yunyun eats, and as your Brother Qingbao eats. You will be the only one who can’t eat."
Yang Dongxue made a face full of grievance, pursed her lips and seemed ready to cry.
Yang Chuxia added, "Crying won’t help, you still won’t be able to eat."
"Okay then, I won’t take it." The little girl spoke up, immediately pulling her lips back into a smile, and put the other bun back on the table. She turned and started drinking her soup instead.
"However, you can still eat the buns at my home, just can’t take them away." Yang Chuxia, seeing her drinking soup with a pitiful look, said another sentence.
Guess what, the little girl responded, "I know I can eat. Can’t I finish my soup first before eating the bun?"
At those words, Yang Chuxia’s lips twitched, this little brat was really asking for a spanking, and now she was proving to be quite witty. It made her suspect that all the daily mischief was intentional.

After lunch, Yang Dayong and the others went back to rest, while Yang Qingbao along with the children stayed to play with Yang Xiayun. They were all about the same age and could play well together.
Seeing there was nothing else to do, Yang Chuxia returned to her room.
She contemplated what she should do before the shop opens in two days. It’s important to make a splash on the first day. There’s no such thing as event models in ancient times to attract customers, and while dragon and lion dances are available, they require quite a bit of silver. More importantly, if someone worms their way into the dragon dance troupe to cause chaos, that would be a problem.
Wasn’t this a common plot in TV dramas back in the day?
So, Yang Chuxia started thinking about people handing out flyers on the streets in her previous life. Those flyers were ineffective due to overuse, and people even got to the point of refusing to take them, but things would certainly be different in ancient times.
Don’t ask her how, as a special agent, she knew all this - before she was a special agent she was just a regular person, living everyday life, walking around on the streets.
Yang Chuxia drew upon her memories of TV commercials and flyer content, and after some thought put together an advertisement for her shop.
After producing a solid example, she cut a number of different-sized pieces of paper and copied it out, spending a whole afternoon doing so.
When Ye Zi’an returned from his shift at the tavern and the Yang Qingrui brothers came back, they joined in with the copying. By bedtime, they had almost two or three hundred copies finished.
But Yang Chuxia felt that it wasn’t enough, and she and Ye Zi’an spent the next morning writing more. By lunchtime, she went to the village and found some young men to help distribute the flyers. She invited the villagers to work whenever there was a job, which brought some extra income for them.
Since she paid well and the work was inside the village, they were all very willing. So this time, after just one visit, a young man voluntarily went out to find others to help.
After lunch, a group of them went to the town in ox carts.
"Here, pair up and each pair takes a street to distribute. Remember, as you hand out the flyers and shout out, make sure to explain so people know what our shop is about, okay?"
