Chapter 129: Chapter 129: A New Way to Make Money
Yang Dachuan felt a bit of a pity when he saw this, thinking that with his daughter’s speed of learning to write, she would have no trouble achieving scholarly honors if she pursued them. It’s just a pity that she’s a girl, but it doesn’t matter, as long as she’s his daughter anyway.

Since Ye Zi’an had already arranged with the restaurant proprietor the day before to start work today, Ms.Wang got up early to prepare breakfast so that he could eat before heading to town.
Naturally, Zi’an was touched by this. He usually had to arrive at work before lunchtime, so there was no need to leave too early. However, since his legs were not very agile, and he had to walk, he often left a bit earlier.
As it happened, Dachuan also had to go to town today to carry some goods, so the two set off for town together.
As for Yang Chuxia, she naturally went to the small beach early in the morning to pick crabs, small shrimps, small fish, and various scallops. She was very busy and happy doing it.
When she returned after picking up everything, she noticed that there was still time, so she decided to marinate the crabs at Ye Zi’an’s house and store them first. As for the key to Ye Zi’an’s house, he had naturally given it to her.
Then she remembered that Qingrui mentioned he would stay at Ye Zi’an’s house, so she also took out Ye Zi’an’s bedding and quilt to sun them and get rid of any moldy smell.
She left the brothers Yang Qingrui and Yang Qingtong to watch over the quilts being sunned outside, while she carried the remaining small shrimp and other things back home.
Because of the delay caused by preparing the drunk crabs, by the time she returned, Ms. Wang had already made lunch. Since both Yang Dachuan and Ye Zi’an were not present, she didn’t bother making a big meal, just stir-frying some facing heaven peppers with a bowl of dried small fish, a bowl of scrambled eggs, and a bowl of minced garlic cucumber, along with some vegetable soup. These three dishes and one soup weren’t very elaborate, but they were still better than their life at the Yang Family. They didn’t have white rice, but at least they could eat steamed buns mixed with white flour.
However, this wasn’t enough for Xiaxia; she needed to find a way to earn more money quickly, so that they could at least afford to eat white rice every day.
While chewing on her chopsticks, she tried to think of a way to make more money. Her eyes rolled around in deep thought.
"What are you thinking about again, young lady?" Ms. Wang tapped her bowl, "Hurry up and eat, then go to Brother An’s house and bring your two younger brothers back for lunch."
"Oh," Xiaxia didn’t pay much attention to what Ms. Wang said, just acknowledging it with a nonchalant response. She didn’t even touch the steamed bun in her hand. Just as Xia Yun was about to laugh at her, Xiaxia suddenly broke into a silly giggle.
"My girl, are you alright?" Ms. Wang asked worriedly, seeing her behavior. Ignoring her mother’s concern, Xiaxia just giggled on, causing Ms. Wang to panic, fearing some lingering effects from the head injury caused by her mother-in-law. "Xiaxia, my dear, are you okay? Don’t scare me."
Ms. Wang grabbed Chuxia’s shoulders and began shaking her vigorously, her voice loud and anxious, startling Chuxia out of her giggling fit.
"Mom, what are you thinking about?" Chuxia was exasperated when she learned of her mother’s concern.
"I’m just worried about you."
"Mom, you go bring back my big brother and little brother for lunch, I have something to do." Remembering what she had thought of earlier, Chuxia quickly gobbled down her food.
"What do you need to do?" Ms. Wang asked subconsciously.
"Shrimp paste." Chuxia put down her chopsticks and continued, "I won’t say too much for now, I’ll tell you more after I make it."
