By now, he was practically drowning in jealousy, no longer bothering to hide the cold sharpness in his gaze. He smiled a smile that didn't reach his eyes. "No, you can't." Before she could say anything, he added, "Study diligently, and you're free to pick anything from upstairs." The tantalizing offer left Yu Zhi unable to refuse. She bit down lightly on her lip, resigned. "Fine, I'll learn." Study? It's not like she couldn't handle it. Seeing her relent, Shi Wei wasted no time. After grasping her situation, he began teaching her from the basics. Truth be told, Yu Zhi was quite clever. Even concepts she had never encountered before seemed to click instantly under Shi Wei's guidance. She even managed to build on them with ease.
