They were following the orders of the Tier-6 Corrupted Beasts who were hiding deep in the wilderness. Because of their fear, they temporarily stopped giving commands to the Tier-4 Corrupted Beasts under them. There are 3 Tier-6 Corrupted Beasts in the wilderness. They are hiding underground. When they heard the bird cry, they felt the threat of Tier-7 Lifeline beasts. Then three underground worm-type Tier-6 Corrupted Beasts informed the mastermind behind them. It was another underground worm-type corrupted beast, but its strength was Tier-7. This Tier-7 Corrupted Beast is called the Thorny Worm. Its huge body was hidden under the surface. It is around 110 feet in length. The Tier-7 Corrupted Beast is mentally communicating with the Tier-6 Corrupted Beasts. After learning that the Tier-6 Beasts are scared, it ordered them to launch a full-scale attack. There was no need for the Tier-2 and Tier-3 Corrupted Beasts to stand by. Boom! After the command, the Tier-2 and Tier-3 Corrupted Beasts were released. They were charging toward the frontline. The corrupted beasts were under the fear of the high-tier corrupted beasts. The corrupted beasts were now directing their anger toward humans. Cry! At the same time, the Tier-7 Lifeline beast let out another cry. If it's true, then we can put an end to the invasion," the tall city governor said. Meanwhile, Jeremy Night's expression changed drastically as the alarm went off. He could see the sandstorm was wider than before. The tremors were getting stronger as well. Even Norton was surprised. Everyone knew about the Striker Department and Jeremy's identity as the Striker Department's representative. They were curious about his Lifeline Beast. Roar! But before they could realize, the beasts' sound reached them. The Tier-2 and Tier-3 beasts were stronger and larger in size than the Tier-1 Beasts. So many Tier-1 Beast Tamers were startled by the sound. Jeremy saw a group of 5 beasts coming toward their direction. His eyes flickered as he observed their strength. When the beasts got closer, he saw that one leading the group was a Tier-3 four-legged dog-type corrupted beast. Jeremy's eyes then fell over the beasts in the group. The four beasts were Tier-2 Beasts. After confirming that, he sighed in relief. He wanted to face one beast at a time. He didn't want to get swarmed by them. The Tier-3 Dog Beast leaped toward him. It was 15 ft tall. Cut! Jeremy waited for the right opportunity. When the beast's paw got closer, he sidestepped to avoid direct contact before swinging the katana. The katana went in a parabolic arc before cutting down the head of the beast. Pfff! The starlight-filled blade felt no resistance. The cut was smooth. Thud! The huge corpse dropped on the ground. Slice! Jeremy then swung the katana to slice the necks of the remaining beasts. In the blink of an eye, his blade danced like a whirlwind in the air before slicing down the necks one by one. Pfff! After a couple of seconds, four more corpses dropped on the ground.
