Wilderness:
The team dispatched by the Heath Family and the Central University 15 had entered the dangerous area that used to be a chemical plant before the mutation era.
Not long after, they encountered the corrupted beasts stronger than the ones that roamed in the wilderness.
This dangerous area had given birth to the dangerous Corrupted Beasts because of the pure natural energy in the environment here.
Before coming here, the High Tier Beast Tamers had their doubts.
Now, they were facing the challenges themselves. They were verifying the report submitted by the previous exploration team.
Though they managed to kill every corrupted beast that they came across, they understood the fact that it was impossible for the previous exploration team to return without casualties.
More importantly, they had yet to explore the Black Lake, which was reported to have taken multiple lives.
The Heath Family Beast Tamers and the University Beast Tamers were conducting their individual investigations. They had casualties on both sides.
Only thorough investigation could provide answers to the families of the victims.
It didn't take much time for the University Beast Tamers to reach the Black Lake. They were High-Tier Beast Tamers comparable to Department Instructors.
Instead of teaching activities, they undertook a lot of missions. Dean Carolyn had warned them about the Black Lake.
So these Beast Tamers were cautious when approaching this place. There were six in total, headed by a veteran old man. His gaze was locked onto the endless Black Lake.
Upon seeing the Black Lake, he felt goosebumps all over his body. The next second, he warned the others not to take a step forward.
The old man was aware of Jeremy Night's report because Dean Carolyn had asked him to read the report completely. At that time, he was amused by the Tier-1 Beast Tamer's report. He felt that some of the things mentioned were exaggerated.
But right now, he felt foolish. He realized that the things mentioned in that report were true.
"That kid is not joking at all," the old man said to himself.
Even the Department Instructors were stunned. Unlike the students, the Department Instructors knew for a fact that Jeremy Night was strong, comparable to average Tier-3 Beast Tamers.
They had seen him slaying many Tier-3 Corrupted Beasts during the beast invasion. So they thought Jeremy Night was not at all interested in fighting against other students.
They were not a match for him at all. Those who knew the truth didn't underestimate Jeremy Night. Rather, they became more cautious.
The following day,
Jeremy woke up as usual and started his daily routine. After an hour, he sat cross-legged on the ground to practice the Inner Healing Method.
At the same time, he noticed that his unknown egg lifeline beast was absorbing the natural energy from the surroundings.
Seeing that, he started running the Inner Healing Method as well. The practice lasted about a few hours. When he was done, he stood up and went to take a bath.
About 30 minutes later,
Jeremy wore the uniform and began to get ready. He had already thought about his schedule for today. He was going to ask Instructor Jacob whether any suitable footwork method was available for him to learn.
All the methods were left behind by predecessors. They developed the methods based on their own talent and the natural energy in the surroundings.
Jeremy thought that his Supreme Combat Body Talent encompassed anything related to physique, such as strength, speed, and other aspects.
After getting ready, he left the residence and strode towards the Department Building. While walking, he couldn't help but think about Romeo Barrett and others.
He had declined their challenge and accepted defeat in front of everyone, but he doubted whether people would let him go just like that.
Sigh!
With a sigh, he resumed walking towards the Department Building.
Shortly afterwards,
He arrived at the building to meet the curious gazes of the Beast Tamers from the Medicine and Machinery Department.
He immediately knew what this was about. People cared more about others' lives than their own.
