City A:
"Young man, if you want to buy from other sources, you can try shops opened by the Beast Taming Association," the cab driver suggested.
Hearing that, Jeremy thanked him. He had heard about the Beast Taming Association as well. If not for his identity as a Central University student, he would have used the Beast Taming Association's identity.
He even had the Beast Taming License with him. Once he is promoted to Tier 2, he will go there to update his details.
About 25 minutes later,
The cab driver stopped in front of the famous store opened by the Beast Taming Association. This store building was closer to Central University 14.
Jeremy didn't have to go around the whole city to find a good shop. After paying the fare, Jeremy walked out. He then started walking towards the shop.
The shop is a multi storey modern glass building. He could see people moving on each floor. When he reached the door, he showed his student ID before going inside.
The view on the first floor greeted him. There were many sponsored items displayed. From premium combat uniforms to the latest cold weapons, he saw different models of knives inside the showcase.
Jeremy was immediately attracted to it—the cutting blade technology that he had never seen before. From standing a few steps away, he could sense the sharpness of the blade.
His current katana blade was not made of premium material on the market. It was a gift he had received in his childhood. He had been using the blade since then.
Unless the blade gets damaged or has other maintenance issues, he won't buy other weapons. His gaze then turned towards the latest gadgets, which could show maps, temperature, and health levels.
Only a small number of Beast Tamers use gadgets. Normally, they rely on their talent and lifeline Beast to fight. But Jeremy thinks the gadgets will be useful to him.
He can't use his unknown egg lifeline beast until it hatches and grows. Until then, he has to rely on himself.
"Guest, have you been staring at the gadgets?"
"Do you want one?"
Lexi noted down everything, but when she heard "Tier 4 Beast," her pupils shrank. Then she realized that the young man was preparing for all possible outcomes.
Her eyes flashed with appreciation.
Jeremy then gave back the digital device. Lexi received it before ordering assistants to bring the listed items.
About 5 minutes later,
The listed items were placed on the desk. Jeremy eagerly inspected the items. He loved the basic combat suits, which were in navy blue color. This suit could protect beast tamers from the claws of Tier 2 Beasts.
For others, they could easily survive in the outer edges of the wilderness after wearing this suit. But for Jeremy, his aim was premium suits. He decided to save money first before buying them.
Then his gaze fell on the rectangular digital device with a scanner. Once you turn on the device, it scans the terrain you are walking in. Later, you can view the map and make a copy of it.
Jeremy decided to buy it because of the mission. But he also thought that it would be useful to him in the future.
Next, his gaze fell on the box filled with syringes. The syringes all had blue medicinal cure in them. They could help you heal from flesh and bone injuries.
Then he saw food boxes. He didn't know about the taste, but they could help him survive. Jeremy then glanced at the toad poison. He thought that apart from the medicinal syringes, it was the expensive one.
He took the small bottle and held it in his palm. If you looked at the liquid inside carefully, there were only a hundred drops or so. But even 1/10 of a single drop could harm a Tier 4 Beast.
Jeremy's expression turned serious. This was something he needed to handle carefully.
"Alright," Jeremy uttered.
"Guest, do you want anything else?" Lexi asked.
Jeremy's eyes caught on the black knife on the shelf. He couldn't help but think of the katana blade.
Jeremy's eyes gained clarity. He was not an emotional fool; he thought it was better to have one more weapon for emergency purposes.
