Jeremy reaches the gate. The guards are surprised. They have seen that kid before. To think he walked back alone without injury. They couldn't help but take a look at the kid twice.
Jeremy observed the attitude of others. He responded to them with a smile before entering the city. He then booked an air cab.
The flying air car arrived shortly afterward. He then entered the cab and told the driver the destination.
Jeremy Night felt a wave of tiredness. His mood had gone through several ups and downs. He wanted to get good sleep after returning to the dorm room.
About 40 minutes later,
The cab dropped him at the entrance of the University. Jeremy Night then walked inside. He is going back to his room first. The mission can be submitted tomorrow.
When he returned, he saw that it was late evening. The mission was supposed to have no time limit. But he had completed it that day. All thanks to the black bear.
He then entered the bath. The bath lasted for 20 minutes. He then changed into comfortable clothes before texting others. He informed them about his return.
The following day,
At 9 in the morning, Jeremy stepped out of the dorm building and started going towards the Mission Hall.
On the way, he came across other department students. They exchanged glances before minding their own business.
Soon, he arrived at the Mission Hall. He saw that students were coming and going. At this point in time, the number of first-year students taking the missions seriously had increased.
It could be said that this was the effect of the beast invasion.
Jeremy walked into the hall and went to the counter to submit the mission report. The staff behind the desk noticed him.
A bright smile bloomed on his face. He immediately recognized one of the famous beast tamers in the first year.
"What can I do for you?" he asked.
"I'm here to submit the mission," Jeremy began to speak. Then he submitted the map he recorded via the scanner. He even submitted a sample of purple fruit taken from the cave.
The staff found no fault. He immediately registered the completion of the mission.
"The reward will be credited today," the staff replied.
Jeremy Night nodded at him before leaving the mission hall. He then decided to go to the Department.
Just as he tried to leave through the exit, he saw one or two Beast Tamers blocking the path. Jeremy was surprised. He didn't know why they were blocking his way.
He immediately noticed their first-year uniforms. They were students from other departments. He decided to walk past them.
Earlier, he had looked down on him. But Jeremy Night's battle results had proven otherwise, especially after hearing that he had the highest kill count in the east side division.
His view had changed completely. But he thought it wouldn't be easy to convince Jeremy Night right now.
"What to do?"
"Lindsey's family must have started their own training plan as well."
"I doubt she would recruit Jeremy Night into her team."
Victor Scott had heard that apart from his family, several other Beast Taming Families had started their training programs.
It would be a matter of time before strong beast tamers got recruited.
"It looks like I should talk to him personally," Victor thought.
Meanwhile,
Jeremy entered the classroom. He saw Betsy Lowe and Daniel Stone in their seats.
"Brother Jeremy!"
Both of them called out in surprise.
Jeremy nodded before sitting in his seat.
"Brother, you are the first one to do a solo mission in the first year. I doubt whether 2 S-Graders can do it," Daniel Stone said with a smile.
"How was the wilderness?"
"Tell us," Betsy Lowe asked.
Jeremy smiled and started to explain slowly.
About 5 minutes later,
Daniel and Betsy's eyes widened in disbelief.
"Tier-4 Beasts!"
"Brother, you were lucky to escape," Daniel Stone said in a grave tone.
"To think it caught your scent. Looks like the corrupted beasts are more dangerous in the wilderness than on the battlefield," Betsy Lowe commented.
"Yes, that's why I have decided to study professional-level survival skills," Jeremy said to them.
