Through his Aura perception, Ash saw the moment Darkrai's Dark Void collided with the spatial aftershocks. In an instant, the black hole expanded, growing into a massive, swirling vortex that swallowed the remnants of Dialga and Palkia's battle energy. So Dark Void can be used this way too? This realization flashed through Ash's mind. Only then did he finally get a chance to check Darkrai's stats. But— Darkrai sank into the ground. A perfect dodge. When the Hyper Beam struck the earth, the attack left a scorched crater, but Darkrai re-emerged almost instantly. Another Dark Void shot forward! But Lickilicky, despite its bulky appearance, was surprisingly agile. It dodged! The missed Dark Void streaked toward— Ash. "Charizard!" "Rooooar!" Charizard roared, unleashing a Flamethrower to intercept the Dark Void. The two attacks clashed mid-air, dispersing into scattered embers and dark mist. Charizard's sharp eyes locked onto Darkrai. Even though it wasn't as strong as Darkrai, it had never backed down from a fight before! Ash patted Charizard's claw lightly. "Easy. Not yet." Meanwhile, Darkrai sent out a second Dark Void— This time, Lickilicky wasn't fast enough. The dark sphere engulfed it, and within moments— Lickilicky collapsed into a deep sleep. "Get out! You are not welcome here!" Darkrai's furious voice echoed again. Baron Alberto's face twisted in rage. "You damn—" "Alberto! Shut up." Ash's cold gaze snapped toward him. Beside him, Charizard's fierce dragon eyes glowed with intimidation. Alberto flinched. His mouth opened—but no words came out. Frustrated and humiliated, he clenched his fists but remained silent. Meanwhile, Ash turned back to Darkrai. "This wasn't caused by Darkrai." He spoke firmly. "Dialga and Palkia's battle in the alternate dimension is affecting this world. Darkrai... is trying to protect Alamos Town." That single sentence stunned Alice, Tonio, and even Baron Alberto. They never expected that. And at that moment— A sudden pulse of energy. Darkrai, Pikachu, and Ash all turned their heads simultaneously. Their gazes locked onto— The heart of Alamos Town. Right in front of the Space-Time Tower! "Leave this place!" Darkrai was furious. It immediately melted into the shadows, racing toward the central plaza. Ash clenched his fists. "Let's go! Dialga and Palkia's battle is crossing into our world. If we don't stop them, Alamos Town will be destroyed!" In the past, he had no way of interfering. The two Legendary Dragons were still in their alternate dimension. But now—Palkia had emerged into reality! __ Above the Space-Time Tower— A massive, white-and-pink dragon materialized. Palkia's right shoulder—where its crimson Space Gem rested—was cracked. It was injured. To escape Dialga, Palkia had used its powers to seal all of Alamos Town within a spatial barrier. And now— It planned to hide here. High above, an aurora of light stretched across the sky. The people of Alamos Town had begun to notice the abnormalities. They couldn't leave. The town was completely cut off from the outside world. And at the center of it all— Darkrai reached the plaza, glaring at the intruder. "Leave!" It unleashed a Dark Pulse directly at the Space-Time Tower. But— Ripples. A dimensional barrier shimmered, dispersing the attack harmlessly. Then, from nothingness, a colossal figure emerged. Palkia. The Lord of Space had arrived. Darkrai wasted no time. It charged. Palkia raised its claw, summoning its protective energy shield. This was an ability only Tier-1 Legendaries and stronger Pokémon could utilize. Even Mewtwo had this ability. Darkrai's attack bounced off the shield, sending it flying backward. Palkia narrowed its eyes. A low growl rumbled from its throat. This... insignificant creature... was challenging it? It was already enraged from its battle with Dialga. And now, a mere Tier-2 Pokémon dared to strike it? Without hesitation— Palkia raised its claw. BOOM! A blue Aura Sphere blasted forward, hitting Darkrai directly! Darkrai crashed into the ground. Dust and debris scattered. Meanwhile, all over Alamos Town— People were panicking. The once-clear sky was now a swirling storm of space-time distortions. They saw the great dragon hovering above them. And they saw Darkrai lying motionless in a crater. Then— Ash and his friends arrived. And the moment Ash laid eyes on Palkia— He used his Aura Vision then a familiar system screen flashed in front of him. "Come out, Latias." Latias appeared, rubbing affectionately against Ash's cheek. "Try to test its strength, Latias. This will help you better control your own power." Latias let out a soft chirp. Then, it ascended. Meanwhile, Ash turned to Alice. "Alice, do you see Palkia's injury? That's why it's acting this way. I'll handle stopping it... but I need you to calm it down.
