He quickly strode forward, gently pushed her back down onto the bed, and said with a stern face, his tone cold, "You’re sick. You should be resting more." "Marcel, are you okay?" Ruby Bluen chose to ignore his cold demeanor, concerned only for his well-being. "Could I be standing here if something was wrong?" Marcel Horne responded irritably. He sat on the edge of the bed, his large hand reaching out to feel Ruby Bluen’s forehead. Her skin was no longer burning hot as it had been the day before, and his expression softened slightly. "I’m sorry," Ruby Bluen suddenly apologized softly. Marcel Horne’s brows twitched. He glared at her. "You’re not suited to life here," he stated. "After you recover, I’ll buy you a plane ticket and send you back myself. That special day has passed. You can’t keep evading reality. You have to go back and face it—face my older brother."
