The expressionless men swiftly escorted Nicholas to the hospital entrance. Upon reaching it, they unceremoniously dropped him to the ground like trash. Nicholas's tall and handsome figure instantly became extremely wretched. A prestigious silver Rolls-Royce arrived slowly. Julia shot a fierce glare at Nicholas, who had been thrown to the hospital entrance by the two men in black. She was about to thank the men, but they departed without a word. Suddenly, she heard the familiar sound of a car. She knew Glades had arrived. Nicholas, utterly disgraced, scrambled up, his handsome face flushed crimson. Passersby gave him peculiar looks, which he found unbearable. He glared darkly at Julia, who stood coldly in the same spot, then turned and walked away sulkily. Just as he got into his car, the Rolls-Royce carrying Glades pulled into a parking space. Without waiting for the bodyguards to open the car door, Glades got out himself. Julia walked a few steps forward, stood at the hospital entrance, and put on a smile, waiting for Glades. "Why are you standing here? Where is Adele?" Glades walked towards Julia, followed by two bodyguards. Although it was noon and the flow of people in the hospital had dwindled, it didn't mean there was nobody around.
