Though it was just a look, Julia felt a shiver of discomfort; his focus was so intense it felt as if his hands were indeed roaming over her. Turning her face away, Julia Bluen felt heat rush to her cheeks. She didn’t need to check; she knew she was blushing. In the three years she had been with Nicholas Coldwell, he had never looked at her with such intensity. Warm breath suddenly puffed against her ear. With a smile, yet speaking earnestly, Glades Horne said, "My dear wife, rest assured, your husband—that’s me—is absolutely clean from head to toe. I won’t let any other woman touch me." BOOM! Julia Bluen’s face reddened even more. Where was he going with this? But... it seemed her earlier words might have also been heading in that direction.
