His entire being exuded a demonic aura, heavy with a violence never seen in Glades Horne. Earlier, when Orlando Evans had left him in the car and gone into the hotel to get a room by herself, he had seized the opportunity to call Halton Hillraise and ask him to arrange for some men with cameras. Then he had continued to feign unconsciousness, pretending to be asleep. He wanted to capture Orlando Evans’s shamelessness on film and put it on a disc. If she ever dared to try any schemes again, he would release all the photos from the disc online, ensuring she could never show her face in public again.
