Chapter 393: The Weights are off!

Chapter 393 "You shocked? Well, don’t be. We were ordered to bring you back dead or alive, and by the looks of things, you’ll be better off dead," the man said as he twisted the spear, and then— "ARGHHH!" Grey screamed at the top of his lungs. The spear seared through his stomach, piercing deeper, drawing blood and agony as he collapsed to his knees, gasping in pain. "What can you do now, you terrorist?" the spear-wielder sneered, a vicious grin on his face. But before he could taunt any further, something slammed into his face with tremendous force, sending him flying across the room. He crashed into the wall, and deep fissures instantly spread across it from the impact. "I know he’s too weak to do anything, so I’m here to help," Finral said, stepping in front of Grey. The men surrounding Grey tensed, drawing their weapons and glaring at Finral with guarded expressions. "Finral? You’re saving me?" Grey asked through gritted teeth, yanking the spear from his stomach with a sharp yelp. Blood dripped down his robes as he stared at Finral in disbelief. "For the record, I’m not saving you because I care," Finral scoffed, his eyes narrowing. "But Millie does. And if something happens to you, she won’t be herself again." "Kill him!" one of the men shouted, and they all charged straight at Finral with bloodthirsty intent. Finral sighed, unfazed. He calmly opened his arms wide in a deliberate arc as Ki began to swirl around his palms, a faint golden glow flickering to life. And then— Clap! Boom! He brought his palms together with a thunderous clap, sending out a shockwave of concentrated Ki. The force blasted the approaching men backward, their weapons flying from their hands as they tumbled across the floor like ragdolls. "That was cool," Grey muttered, a faint smile curling on his lips as he glanced down at his stomach. The gaping hole was slowly shrinking, the bleeding easing up. ’Ki is really fascinating. My injuries are healing just by having it circulate through my body. How interesting,’ he thought, wincing slightly as the wound closed further. Swoosh! A sharp sound cut through the air. A blade came rushing toward Finral’s neck, but he leaned back just in time, the sword slicing through the space where his head had been moments earlier. Without hesitation, he swung his fist, slamming it into the attacker’s wrist. Bones cracked audibly as the man dropped his sword with a scream. Finral then leapt, driving both knees into the man’s face and slamming him to the ground. Blood gushed from the man’s nose as he lay stunned. Another enemy lunged at Finral with a spear, but he reacted instantly—jumping into the air, spinning once, twice, and then landing a powerful kick right to the side of the attacker’s neck. The man’s eyes rolled back as he collapsed like a sack of potatoes. "Come on! Is that all you can muster? A reputable clan? My foot!" Finral roared, veins bulging on his forehead as he glared at twenty more men charging at him. Bang! Clang! Boom! The chaotic sounds of battle filled the hall as Finral engaged all twenty at once. A kick came flying toward his face, and he swiftly raised his forearm to block. But at the last second, the attacker feinted, shifting his target and landing a brutal kick to Finral’s stomach instead. "Urgh!" Finral grunted, skidding back from the impact—right into the path of a spear aiming straight for his back. "Too obvious!" Finral muttered as he spun around and slammed his hands into the spear sending it into the ground before doing a backflip with his toes slamming into the spear user sending him skidding. And then Finral’s leg landed on another clan member’s head sending him into the ground while a smile crossed his lips as he looked at the rest of the men. Grey could still be seen kneeling, his wounds closing at a really slow rate as he continued watching the fight. ’Dude is like a a fighting machine or something. He is happy fighting these men and doesn’t even care if he gets injured or not. But hold on a second! Is it just me or do these men look quite weak while fighting Finral? Or is it that Finral is too strong?’ Bang! A solid hit landed on Finral’s face causing him to spin in the air and then slam back down into the ground with a thud as he spat out blood. "Ouch! That hurt." Finral muttered as he slowly rose his head up to see one of the men charge right at him swinging his leg from below heading towards his face. "But that was fun though." Finral grinned as he used his palm to whack the leg into the ground and in one smooth movement, he swirled all his Ki to his hands as he pressed them on the ground and then leapt up, his head slamming straight into his attack’s jaw causing a tooth and blood to shoot out. Then with a small spin, he landed a kick on the man’s neck hurling him into the other clan members that all skidded an inch. "Alright, my Ki is already being drained." Finral mumbled under his breath with a sigh as he stared at the remaining twenty men glaring at him. "Charge!" One of the men ordered as they all dashed forward at once. "Come on!" Finral sighed as he also dashed forward and then a tough battle ensued. A spear was headed for Finral’s head but he quickly claspsed his palms around the tip bringing the spear to a halt as he gulped a little. Before he could do anything, a kick slammed hard in his gut sending him skidding with a dribble of blood down his mouth. Before he could even regain his footing, another foot slammed straight into his face further sending him skidding with a cracked nose. "You should have stayed down, kid." One of the men said as he dashed forward with Ki swirling around his fist and then... Bang! It slammed straight into Finral’s gut finally hurling his body back with a mouthful of blood spraying from his mouth as he landed right beside the kneeling Grey. "I thought dad trained you for a reason." Finral shouted as he coughed out more blood while holding his stomach and glaring at Grey. "What? Don’t look at me like that, I thought you had it covered." Grey shrugged with a cheeky grin on his face. "Tsk! I will take you to task later." Finral scoffed as he tried to stand up when a palm suddenly pressed on his shoulders bringing him back down. "Let me." Grey said as he stood up and walked directly in front of Finral. "Oh look! The terrorist is finally coming to turn himself in. You know, if you do that, it will really save us all the trouble of arresting you." Grey didn’t reply as he instead ripped his shirt off to reveal his chiseled body, the weights on his arms. "I know Yami sir said I shouldn’t remove them now," Grey said as he grabbed the straps of one of the weight and he pulled it off causing it to drop into the ground with a loud thud. He removed the second one around his arms, crouched down and removed the ones on his legs as he finally stood up and twirled his wrists around with a grin while he bounced from one foot to another in a slightly jogging manner. "Now, with those annoying weights off, shall we have a rematch?" Grey asked as he bent his feet, Ki swirling around it and then... Boom! Grey suddenly disappeared in a blur with nobody unable to see him again.
