He did the same for his other arm, legs, torso, and finally his head. Within seconds, Dante stood encased in a formidable armor of compressed earth—each segment layered like battle-hardened scales. His presence now resembled a war colossus risen from the soil itself. "So shall I," he muttered. Bang! Bang! Twin explosions echoed throughout the arena, turning every head—beast and human alike. A dust storm billowed from the point of impact as Dante and Charlotte rocketed forward like unleashed hurricanes. Dante manipulated the terrain beneath his feet, launching himself at blistering speed, while Charlotte—clad in her radiant Valkyrie Dress—moved like a phantom tide, her speed almost rivaling that of elite wind mages. BOOM! With one devastating punch from her gauntleted hand, Charlotte sent an ogre flying backward, its massive frame skidding across the ground before crashing into a crater. But she had already vanished, appearing at another flank. Wolves, ogres, and even battle-hardened gorillas crumbled before her relentless assault—each strike a fatal dance of liquid grace and brutal precision. Not to be outdone, Dante rained destruction in his wake. Earth spears erupted from the ground, jagged boulders flattened beasts, and towering pillars surged upward to impale anything in their path. His raw power reshaped the terrain itself—every movement followed by a thunderous crack or boom that echoed through the blood-stained arena. Above them, Lyra reigned from the skies, her wind dragon roaring through the heavens. Blades of wind fell like divine punishment—an endless deluge that carved through the horde with surgical precision. Wherever her gaze turned, a beast's head soon rolled, severed cleanly by invisible blades. The wolves were mowed down like wheat in a storm, and even the ogres and gorillas were forced to retreat or fall under her precise volleys. "Dante!" Charlotte called out, leaping back to avoid a bone-shattering hammer strike from a charging ogre. Without hesitation, Dante bolted in, earth churning beneath him. The ogre raised its hammer high and brought it crashing down. BOOM! The impact rang out like a cannon blast. A shockwave ripped through the air, dust exploding outward. But Dante stood firm, both arms raised, the earthen armor on them glowing with runic cracks. His feet dug deep into the ground, anchoring him like a mountain unmoved by storm. "That's it? That's all you've got?" he grinned. With a roar, he retaliated—swinging his armored fist with devastating force. BANG! CRACK! The ogre's skull caved in as its body flew backward, smashing through several stone pillars before crumpling like a discarded rag doll. "Thanks," Charlotte said, not missing a beat. She twisted mid-air and unleashed a crescent slash of pressurized water from her foot, slicing clean through a lunging wolf's head. "You could've avoided that hit on your own," Dante asked, raising an eyebrow. "So why call me?" "I don't know," Charlotte smirked playfully, her eyes twinkling behind her watery helm. "I just love having you around." With a soft thump, she launched herself back into the fray, a blur of blue and silver streaking through the chaos. Dante remained rooted, blinking. A dumbfounded smile spread across his face, cheeks flushing. 'I just love having you around…' The words echoed in his head like a spell. Swoosh! A sudden gust from above shattered his daze. A wind spear crashed down beside him, embedding into the ground with deadly force. "Focus, lover boy," Lyra snapped from above. "Unless you want the next one going through your head." She raised her hand again. Twin vortexes of slicing wind erupted, spiraling with violent energy. They screamed across the battlefield, eviscerating a dozen wolves and leaving only shredded corpses and torn ground behind. "I'm not the one that said you shouldn't have a love life." Dante grumbled beneath his breath as he heard the sound of something thumping towards him. THUMP! THUMP! THUMP! A thunderous rhythm of charging footsteps reached his ears. He spun around—six massive fists barreled toward him. A gorilla. Reacting fast, Dante slammed his fists forward. BOOM! The collision shook the earth itself. Cracks webbed out from the impact, and a massive crater cratered beneath his feet. Dust and energy exploded outward, but Dante held firm. He grinned as he locked eyes with the beast's glowing red gaze. "What's wrong? Is that—" Crack! He trailed off as a fissure split his armor. Then another. And another. BANG! A delayed shockwave erupted from the impact. His body was hurled backwards like a ragdoll, blood spraying from his mouth as his armor shattered, chunks crumbling away like debris after an earthquake. He skidded violently across the arena floor, crashing near Grey's unconscious form. From above, Lyra facepalmed. "And this is why I said—focus!" she barked, but then froze. Out of the corner of her eye, something shifted in the sky. One of the two portals had grown massive—groaning and pulsating as if it couldn't contain what struggled within. From the widening portal, a monstrous hawk beast began to emerge. "Shit," Lyra muttered, eyes narrowing. "Is that the winged beasts' boss?" She scanned the arena. There—far off in the distance, she spotted Captain Amir. He sat cross-legged, immersed in deep meditation, recovering mana. "Uhm… a little help here!" Dante's voice brought her back. He leapt from platform to platform, desperately dodging the enraged gorilla's relentless strikes. Each swing shattered the stone beneath him. "Screw you!" he growled, clapping his hands. The ground beneath the gorilla trembled, cracks forming like a spider's web. But the beast was fast—it leapt just before the earth collapsed. Swoooosh! A hundred wind swords rained from the sky, glimmering like falling stars. The gorilla crossed its arms into an 'X' and braced itself. Some blades glanced off, but others cut deep, slicing clean through four of its six arms. The beast roared in agony, its blood splashing the ground in thick, black arcs. Dante took the opportunity. High above him, a colossal arrow of stone formed—dense, jagged, and glowing with etched runes. It hovered menacingly. The gorilla tried to move but its legs wouldn't respond. Earth had crawled up its limbs and cemented it in place. "Catch this!" Dante roared. CRACK—BOOOOM! The arrow launched like a meteor. The gorilla raised its remaining arms in vain. THUD! The projectile pierced through the beast's skull, emerging out the back with a thunderous blast. The gorilla's head slumped, hanging by torn muscle. Its body remained upright, trapped by the very earth it stood on. Dante exhaled, brushing dirt from his chest. Kereeeeeee! A bloodcurdling screech cut through the air. Lyra's gaze darted back to the portal. The hawk had nearly escaped. Wings wider than a warship flared open as the beast clawed its way free from the portal, eyes glowing like molten lava. "Crap," Lyra whispered, a chill sliding down her spine. "This is bad. Real bad."
